Good Points: Lovely looking rifle, great feel to it, easy to use, excellent value for money in walnut.I bought a MK3 177 bullbarrel carbine 5 days ago and am very pleased with it. I've got Simmons 3x9x50 glass on the top and it looks peach.
Bad Points: Got one on one accuracy using AA fields diablo 177. Then I tried bis mags in it. After that I could not get better than 2" groupings when I reverted back to AA fields. I finally decided to undo the flat nut at the end of the bull barrel and let the plastic baffles and springs fall forward under pressure. After pushing them back in and doing the nut up again I now have 100% accuracy again with AA fields. I concluded that the bis mag pellet must have altered the alignment of the internal silencer baffles.
General comments: Check alignment of internal moderator baffles by easing them out and pushing them back and doing end cap back up. Use Air Arms fields diablo and stick to them - don't chop and change pellet types as it seems to alter alignment of the baffles.

I picked up the carbine version about a month ago and have been rabbiting and ratting a few times. I had no problem zeroing in at about 25 yards with pellet on pellet accuracy. i have fitted it with a Richter Optik scope and the combination seems excellent. I have been loading with .177 Air Arms Diablo's 4.51. This rifle has excellent handling , a little on the heavy side but this just makes it steadier. if i am being really picky then there are a couple of areas where the finish could be a litt ...

This is my first high end air rifle so my views may be a little jaded. I began my search looking for something to assist me in single handedly destroying the pigeon population in Arizona. As I shot rifle after rifle, I chose this BSA model for the following reasons: 1) Incredibly quiet, I live in an area where my neighbors would frown on hearing the shots of a loud spring loaded rifle resonating through the neighborhood. With this rifle, they never know when I'm shooting. With the cuilt in sil ...

First off, I've been hunting with airguns for over 5 years. I've done mainly squirrel hunting but also a bit of rabbit hunting. I bought the MK3 BSA SuperTEN Bull Barrel Carbine because I was looking for something with more punch. Out of the box with a Bushnell Banner 4x16 I was able to stack pellets at 25 yards. My shots were going to be in the 75-100 yard range so I had to reset the scope and when it was all done and said this little monster was giving me 1.68

The other day I borrowed the infamous BSA SuperTEN Bull Barrel Carbine air rifle to do a bit of rabbit shooting. The rifle was second hand, but was in mint condition, and had only fired about 20 shots. I took the rifle home and (tried) to zero it in at about 30 meters. To start with I fed it Accupells, but they had a grouping of a dinner plate, so I changed the pellets to Airarms Pro Diablo. These produced an acceptable grouping of about 1 inch. So all ready to go, I waited until dark and set of ...
