How this company is still allowed to trade, is totally beyond me! Scammers charging £69.50 for a loan that never materialised!!! Furthermore, I was forced to take out a short term payday loan with one of their associates, in order for them to progress my application further. I didn't want or need this loan incidentally,. Exactly what happened to me. I was only offered a guarantor loan, cancelled in July within 2 weeks of applying and its been 3 months now, still no refund of £69.50, I make endless calls, fax email complaints. Never had a call back, never had a reply to my complaint (there terms say you'll get a refund within a month and a reply to your complaint within a month) Have been told 2 cheques have been posted, both didnt arrive. Now they say as I've been waiting so long for a refund, they would pay it straight on my card within a week, that was 3 weeks ago. Rang again today, they will do it tomorrow. Believe it when I see it. And today like every time I ring still trying to persuade me to keep trying to get a loan. I said no no no your company is a joke. Ive had arguments with some staff because they are so rude, accusing me of lying about accepting a loan so they dont have to give me a refund. A complete joke and disgusting and I have learnt a big lesson, dont use yes loans, always research every company before applying.

Hi garrypacy
Don't feel stupid, I've just fallen for it too, however I think I have managed to cancel my card in time so that the amount would not be debited and the bank said that even if it did try to come out even after the card was cancelled they would dispute it for me, so you might want to try that too as it's only a few days ago.
I've just posted a review too and waiting for it to upload.
I wish you all the best with the refund or with your bank if you try that too.
It's so bad of these companies to do this, it's not like we can afford it if we are applying with them in the first place!
Good luck :-)

I totally agree with you, just had wentworth direct finance on saying the same thing. There should be a law against this. So if you want to contact Trading Standards then I am with you.

I am to issue court action against this company to get my money back, at least their credit rating will be affected.
Yes Loans are one step from been loan sharks and should be closed down.

they have £69.50 of my money and I didn't want a loan, I was asked by a friend to pay it and even spoke to the girl on the phone who assured me I would get it refunded back, I have also phoned them over and over and all I got was rude employees talking down to me, I was told to put it in writing to get the refund which I did and also sent it recorded delivery, I gave up after a 12 mth of trying, but your right I should go to the trading standards people about them. I have heard that the boss has since passed away well they do say what goes around comes around don't they.

Horrible experience. They charged my debit card £70 2 years ago (administration fee) and I never got any loan. I asked for the refund, sent emails, few faxes, lots of phone calls. I didn't get money back until now. Do not use them!!!
I put 1 star because I couldn't leave none.

What a bunch of w*nkers! Everyone please steer clear or cancel you bank card straight away!
The guy (Kyle) took my bank account and card details and said that there would be a processing fee of £69.50. When I tried to politely decline he became very pushy, cheeky and rude and I ended up having to put the phone down on him. I checked my bank account straight away and luckily they hadn't taken the money, so I cancelled my bank card straight away.

YES LOANS took and £69.50 from my account without asking or telling me, this is FRAUD.
The Story - I called yes loans just to enquire (NOT TO APPLY) for a loan of £3000 I wanted to know the APR - they spoke so fast and before I knew it I had applied! During the application they asked for my card details and I specifically asked what did they need it for, I was told it was for credit checking only. 5 days later I notice £69.50 had been taken from my account from YES loans after calling them...

same here I was asked by a friend to lend the £69.50 which I would get back by yes loans straight away , I actually spoke to the girl first to make sure I would get the money back and she assured me I would, this was last year and I have phoned them constantly and was told to put it in writing and I would get a refund , so I wrote asking for my money back and even sent the letter recorded delivery and still to today no refund. PLEASE PLEASE PEOPLE AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE . HOW CAN THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT THESE PEOPLE KNOWING THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF AND HOW CAN GET AWAY WITH IT ? THEY NEED INVESTIGATING COME ON WATCHDOG CHECK THEM OUT !
