    Don't buy here. This site is fake. They did not send me my complete order. Do not recommend at all.

    Since taking the shop over from the previous owner in November 2008, they have done wonders with ABC ModelSport, turning it from an unfriendly, unhelpful place into an alladin's cave of plastic. The owner is a modeller himself (building a Harrier when we visited), and the shop specialises in Armour, but has a healthy supply of aircraft, Warhammer 40K, ships and car models. He's also a stockist of Great North Roads diorama bases, which are fantastic.

    Under new management. ABC ModelSport were very good, friendly and they know what they are talking about as they are keen modeller's themselves.

    ABC modelsport is under new management, who are a pleasure to deal with.They have a wide selection of kits and will order anything they haven't got in stock. Also a Military modeller who is very helpful.

    myself and a friend went to ABC Modelsport yesterday and the shop is much better now it has been taken over , all stock is well displayed and the staff were really helpful and polite and knew what they were talking about , all the best for the future guys , keep up the good work

    myself and a friend went into ABC modelsport today and its all changed now , well laid out and Paul was really helpful and courteous and listened to what we were after and sorted us out with everything we needed , I have been using ABC for over 10 yrs now and it was always a bad experience , only went over because we knew it had changed hands , all the best for the future guys , see you soon

    Good stockist of plastic kits and models and also warhammer. The new owners aren't concentrating on RC stuff anymore, but are certainly knowledgeable about what they do stock, and working hard to ensure the problems with the website in the past don't happen again.
    Glad to see that the shop and website have now been bought by someone who knows their stuff - first impressions are that whilst there isn't much RC stuff anymore, the new owners are concentrating on what they know.

    Debited my account immediately, but I did not receive the item ordered. It has been 1 year since I placed my order, and I still have not received it yet.All attempts to make contact have not been replied to so far.

    Ordered kit from ABC ModelSport in December 2007 when web site showed it was in stock. I have never received anything. Been trying for 10 months to either get goods or money back.

    ordered parts, paid for same, had order confirmation email, did not receive my order or a reply to 22 emails and numerous phone calls (voicemail seemed to be full) until i sent recorded delivery letter asking for a full refund within 30 days. lo and behold i got an email from abc modelsport confirming my order cancellation, remains to be seen if i get my money back though?

    Ordered parts from ABC ModelSport, had order confirmation. have received no other contact, have not received anything, no reply to 4 emails I've sent, voice mail seems to be full every time I try so cannot complain verbally.

    I ordered an item at beginning of July and after numerous unsuccessful phone calls and e-mails eventually got through to someone late August! They informed me it must be lost in post. Waited one more week to no avail and finally got refund 7 weeks later.

    I ordered parts for my helicopter online because I have received prompt response from other companies and was able to get back to my hobby by the following weekend. abc modelsport emailed me saying that the order was dispatched which I do not think was the case because 9 days later I have not received anything. I have tried to call them and have sent them email messages with no replies yet.

    ABC ModelSport debited money from account, claimed goods were out of stock. Did not receive a reply to my emails. They sent a substitute but have not refunded the difference yet.

    ABC ModelSport debited funds from my account when the goods I ordered were not in stock.
    They informed me the items have been posted but I have not received the goods.
    Rarely answer phone whenever I phone, unable to leave answer phone messages as system apparently full.
    Will not give me a refund even though goods were not received.

    I have received half my order now. Make your own judgement after reading these reviews

    Is now www.ABCmodelsport.co.uk, but doing same practice. Wish I had never dealt with them.Ordered truck, then after 2 phone calls from them with different reasons why I hadn't received the order, I cancelled by email and phone call. Got an email confirmation from them for the cancellation, but no money yet.Currently processing dispute with Bank.

    They did not call me back, answer emails, send out my goods or refund you your money when you ask. I have called numerous times and emailed 6 times. They promised to send out goods 4 times (initially claiming lack of stock, then a stocktake!) and when I asked for my money back after 3 months of waiting, they suddenly said they had the item there and could send it out.     Although I was told my order was unavailable after ordering a Serenity glider the money was taken out of the account right away without delivery of goods. I was later told that a cancellation fee would be payable when I cancelled the order after being offered an alternative which was not suitable.

    The shop is close to where I live, but I'd rather use mail order or travel than shop there, the staff are surly & unhelpfuland the stock is very limited and poorly displayed.I still was half considering ordering something from them, but after reading these reviews I won't take the chance.

    I would not use ABC Modelsport again if it was the only shop on the planet, I would pack the hobby in 1st.
