i have been to the talbot twice in the last 6 months, and every time i have been, the staff have been excellent as well as the food. going again in a couple of weeks. cannot wait! carvery at £4.99 per head. how can you go wrong?? (read more)

We visited The Talbot pub/restaurant for a very special meal last night(17/11/05). We had previously called the manager and asked if there was a booking system, he said there wasn't and to just turn up and we would be looked after.
We arrived 30 minutes before the restaurant was opened and a member of staff told us to get a drink first and come back to the restaurant area at 6.00pm.
