There's low water pressure in my area and this shower is made for low water pressure but its just the same as if you had a shower that isn't made for low pressure. And the noise of this shower is unreal! It's so loud and high pitched and I don't think its just me that thinks this, but it just seems to get louder and more high pitched every few minutes! I've had older Mira showers and they weren't as loud or annoying. The only good thing about this shower is that it has a really nice layout... (read more)

Replaced old version of this shower with this newer model purely to make the job easier as new holes didn't have to be drilled in the tiles. Never thought for one minute the performance would be much different..... Pressure is not as powerful BUT the thing that drives me mad is the high pitched noise that seems to accentuate during your shower. Really is unbearable!!!! (read more)

The water dial has to be turned right around to maximum to get any hot water out of it and as a result there is no pressure. The noise is unbearable. Sale of Goods and Services Act 1980 It is not fit for the purpose it is marketed for and definitely not as described by the sales print on the box (read more)

Very poor pressure from Mira Elite 2. For a warm shower the power settings need to be on high and the water tempature setting almost at full. Any movment on the tempature dial has the water too hot or to cold. (read more)

I would not recommend that you buy this Mira Elite shower. Summer or Winter we have to have the power setting set on full. OK in the Summer as you can change the temperature setting, but during the winter if you go 1mm too far you get scolded or freeze. I think this is possibly the worst purchase I have ever made. The only good point about this Mira Elite shower is that it looks good. (read more)

We purchased a Mira Elite 2 shower because we relied on either the oil boiler in winter, or the immersion in summer to heat the water, so we wanted a top of the range shower model to give us adequate pressure etc. What we did get was a shower which performed brilliantly in summer, as the ground water temperature was warmer so did not require the shower to be turned on high, which meant great pressure, but in winter, as soon as the water was hot enough to stand under, the pressure just vanished. Did you get any recommendations for a replacement?

<br/>I have a problem with low pressure and need to replace the existing Mira Elite because it has basically stopped due to limescale. Can't seem to find any pumped electric shower that has good reviews!
