Good fun. You need to do Pump It Up a couple of times before you get used to the dance moves (and I still flail around hopelessly during a couple of them and I've had it 2 years) but generally, once you start you begin to smile and have fun. And sweat. Buckets. There is a bit where you think "oh god not more lunges I'm going to kill you" but generally it's a great pace for all levels of fitness. The dancers do make lots of mistakes which is irritating but only a bit. Also, the girls are absolute ...- Read debbiecat's review (161 words)

If you are willing to take the time to do it regularly, Pump It Up! The Ultimate Dance Workout will strengthen your entire body and increase your stamina and flexibility.
And it's a whole lot of fun, even if you're like me and can't dance to save your life, the moves are simple and invigorating. I recommend it to anyone.- Read raven163's review (112 words)

Really good workout and gets you moving loads! Great music that keeps you into the routine and the dancers are good too. They look great as well which makes me more determined to finish the whole routine which takes around an hour! Its my first workout dvd that I bought from HMV in a pack of 2 ministry of sound dvs for £15 and I don't think I'll buy any others because this one it perfect for me!

Good music. Fun way to burn calories and tone that bum! A little tricky at first to keep in time with dancers but after a while you know what's coming. Overall a fun and enjoyable way to get fit, especially if you love dance music.- Read Guest's review (45 words)

I like this one very much. It is much more creative and pro than those exercise I got in my gym class. The dancers look good too, not like those muscles instructors on available DVDs. I have been on it for 2 months and get along well with all moves.- Read Summergirl's review (63 words)

I've had this video for well over a year, and I still love it! It still makes me sweat and increases my heart rate, and I'd have to say it's one of my fave workout videos. Plus, the music is pretty good and really gets me going!! You will lose weight with this video- there's no question about it.- Read srmorton82's review (59 words)

Pump It Up is perfect for me, i really enjoy it and after a while (mounths), my body really changed and i feel a lot more better and stronger. The only problem is I am pregnant and i am scared to do it anymore, I don't know if it will affect in a bad way or in a good one.- Read flucyl's review (60 words)

Good music for a workout, I needed to pause it to get water as you really work up a sweat. I didn't lose any weight but it's good for dancers and helps to keep rhythm and co-ordination.- Read amie8's review (54 words)

I find the workout video pretty good for myself as a dance music lover. I wish they'd have cut out some of their mistakes though, they're pretty annoying.
Burnt an average of 500 kcal at my 10st 13lb weight. Not too bad! *results according to my Polar heart rate monitor
The next MOS "the ultimate workout" is much better for toning!

I think it's a good dvd, best i've found so far however the guy doesn't really tell you what to do he's just like 'side back side and round!' and does loads of stuff thinking we're supposed to know what to do, it's confusing sometimes but you get the hang of it if you keep on doing it and rewinding it 50 times.- Read Guest's review (86 words)

If you can pick up dance moves quickly this would be great, the music is good and the dancers are bearable (which is hard to find in some fitness DVD's)- Read smilero7's review (64 words)

What a brilliant workout - it's quite challenging and works up a sweat, but it really is fun. It helps with the great music too - my favourite workout!! I alternate this with a few other workouts, Nell McAndrew and Kirsty Gallagher, and I can see results and feel much better.- Read frill2005's review (49 words)

The Pump It Up exercise DVD is a brilliant way to workout. I used to go to the gym before I discovered this DVD, but I found it so boring. I really enjoy working out with the DVD, it is so much fun. I have many other exercise DVD's, but nothing compares to this, and it is really easy to pick up all the moves. Well done Ministry of Sound!- Read claire2006's review (70 words)

I found Pump It Up! The Ultimate Dance Workout DVD brilliant! It helped me shed a couple of extra pounds and i got so much fitter!!!!
There is nothing bad at all with this DVD in my opinion, a few friends groaned that they didn't enjoy it, but it depends on the music you prefer. If you enjoy modern dance music from the ministry of Sound and aerobics then this is the DVD for yoU!!! It goes through a number of stages including warm up and Cool Down. It's got everything, and is great fun. I high ...- Read Gems3's review (144 words)
