Good Points: Easy to navigate & use, uses single AAA battery, small and easy to use, easy to connect to PC via USB port and is recognized as a generic USB disk drive (removeable disk). Good sound quality, recording quality and able to store files as a USB storage device. 256 MB ram.
Bad Points: Drains battery quickly, no shock-resistance, prone to virus infection. Problems occur frequently.
General comments: The ProLine MP3 player has many capabilities, including the ability to store files as well as media. With simple control layout, and a well-documented instructions manual ensures that the user should not get confused. Using one AAA battery at a time, though, can result in short battery life, and can be expensive to replace. With good sound quality, and a microphone on the side, this MP3 player is of good quality, for it's small size. At the front of the MP3 is a USB port so you can connect it straight to your PC, and a USB extension wire is included. The USB is recognized as a removeable disk drive to your computer, and can be used to store files and folders, like a USB memory stick, as well as music.
But the USB is prone to virus infections, and, if accessed, could possibly stop the MP3 from working. Fast-forwarding and re-winding is quite awkward, due to the actual speed of the operations being rediculously fast, else this MP3 player is of high quality, and I would recommend it as a music occupation between now, and the time you get an i-pod.
