Bought an Ixus 750, picked up the Canon camera case, popped it in and when I took it back out a little later, the screen had a slice in it. At no time did it receive a knock or undue pressure of any kind and in my opinion, the case caused the damage. It still works but it needs a new screen.

My LCD screen has broken on my Canon Ixus 750 digital camera, and the camera is only 3 months old. It happened in a padded case in my handbag, and it's not covered by the guarantee. It will cost a third of the price of a new one to be fixed. I can't believe my bad luck. Is it going to happen again?

The Canon Ixus 750 digital camera has great build quality apart from its very bad anti-scratch protection, which is in fact substandard. I quite frankly will sell this camera back to eBay at a profit. My wife beat me for buying this digital camera when I should have used the money for my children's dental work. My son has a crooked smile but lots of friends with this stylish camera.

I found the Canon Ixus 750 great apart from there being no case supplied, but they are fairly cheap to get hold of from Jessops. And i feel that the viewfinder is a little close to the screen (however i cant complain as overally i have found it great and value for money). Most importantly the pictures it produces have proved great and i have taken some great shots which my last camera simply couldn't do.
I love this camera and as mentioned before, it certainly is value for money

Most people would want to just use the 'point and shoot' mode when using the Canon Ixus 750 digital camera, which is fine. However, by using what they call the manual mode, you can get so much more from the camera, like night shots, fireworks, and panoramic stitching etc. I bought the camera for myself (I am a professional photographer), my wife (who just wants to take family photos), and to take the place of our old analogue video camera. It covers all of our imaging wish list.
I have only ...
