Good Points: This phone has a full qwerty keyboard and comes with all the software you need to keep yourself organised, it uses the nokia calender which is very good, office tools (word processor, spreadsheet etc), an extensive convertion calculator, an easy to use email tool and all the other features you would expect from a nokia business phone.
Bad Points: The reception isn't brilliant compared with other nokia phone's I've had and I'm often left with little or no signal. It also doesn't seem to like receiving calls from certain people (whether or not this is just a problem with my phone I don't know).
General comments: Overall the Nokia E61 is a very powerful tool, easy to use and very 'clever'. The storage space is expandable via memory card, the screen is large and very clear and the phone is generally very easy to use. Finally, the battery is huge, so the battery life is pretty decent. However it is no use whatsoever out in the countryside. Also doesn't have a camera, but being a business phone, it doesn't really need one. Also the storage space is only expandable by mini SD cards, which are quite hard to get hold of, so an adaptor is needed to fit a micro SD card. Finally, as has been mentioned before, the voice recorder is very easy to accidentally turn on, which has become a constant annoyance.

I bought this as I had been very impressed with my old Nokia 6820 but wanted better web access. However, the phone is quite wide and cumbersome and is a pain to carry around unless you have large pockets or bag. Web access is limited and navigation around features is not very quick. I would not buy another one.- Read skate bunny's review (84 words)

This is so close to perfection I wish they'd made a little extra effort, for example, why does it not come with a proper 'ToDo' Time / Project / Management programme? It doesn't take much. This is a business machine, not a toy. There are no games, it has no radio, no camera. Audio play-back is very good (recording too), with headphones sound is excellent. The screen is large and clear. The menus logical and straightforward. It synchronises well with laptops & pcs. Bluetooth and infra-red are ea ...- Read NokiaPhoneE61's review (409 words and 1 comment)

If you just want a nice looking mobile phone that is small and easy to carry and takes nice photos don't buy the Nokia E61. If you want a diary, a to do list, an address book, a phone, a music library, a photo album, a gismo that can receive and send emails, check the internet, do documents, Powerpoint, spreadsheets and more then the E61 comes highly recommended!- Read themilkybarkid's review (258 words)

It is a good contender to the current Blackberry market, but obviously the people who designed the Nokia E61 mobile phone may have never used a Blackberry themselves.- Read londonsoho7's review (115 words)

The Nokia E61 looks good, however, the reception is poor. The phone fails regularly in normal use, loses network connection and cannot make or receive calls. Problem occurred twice a day in first two days of use. Some obscure software problem, not clear how to replicate.
Environment - 300 contacts, 7000 calendar entries, bluetooth.
Totally frustrating experience - beware!- Read DennisJennings's review (55 words)
