“Elvive doesn't work!”

So my hair is a bit lifeless and not very shiny, so I wanted to get shiny hair, and this shampoo is supposed to make your hair shiny and soft. I've used it for some weeks now and I'm so disappointed! It's not making my hair shiny at all. My hair has gotten more electric. The only good thing about this shampoo is the smell. I've tried another shampoo from Elvive as well, called 'Elvive Volume', but that didn't work either. So I guess I'm done buying shampoo from Elvive now...! (read more)

Bought the shampoo and conditioner simply because they were on offer in Superdrug and the claims it made appealed to me. I'm glad I did. My hair was noticeably more shiny from the first use and was lovely and soft. I'd usually have to wash my hair every day otherwise it would get greasy and feel disgusting, but my hair stayed soft and clean the next day too, which was fab! I started it use about three months ago so as my flat mate. It worked very well on our hair, it become smooth and nice however after few months later my hair started to comes off a lot during taking shower and combing hair.We both has the same problem until now after stop using it about a month. It might not apply to all of you, but i would not recommeded to anyone, absolutelly terrible product! (read more)

On Sunday I had a date but on Saturday night I stayed with another man and he is bald and has no shampoo in his home.On Sunday morning I waited untill the shop opened and when I could finally buy Elvive shampoo, I washed my hair in record time and was ready for my date just in time with shiny, lustrous hair.

This shampoo is great!
My hair is long (just above waist length),thick and wavy, this shampoo smoothed my frizz out and the whole range of the pantene neutrigloss help keep it calm and manageable. Also the spray gives my hair a bit of shine after I straighten it. HOWEVER the shampoo,conditioner,cream and spray cause some scalp itchiness, but this could just be me :)
4/5 STARS! YAY!!

I have tried expensive salon exclusive loreal shampoos and conditioners becaz i had my hair straightened.My hair was very dry,dull and frizzy.I tried this Nutri gloss just out of curiousity.It made my hair shiny and after a long time i feel like my hair has some life to it. (read more)

Other than 'salon brands' which are rather expensive, this is the best shampoo I have ever used. I have been using L'Oreal haircare products for many years, and this is certainly the best ever. Great results, nice non-intrusive fragrance, and rich lather. Who could ask for more?
I would and do recommend this product to all I am in touch with and do so without reservation.
I only say that I would have liked to know about this shampoo earlier, so I could have had the experience earlier.

i used to use loreal nutri gloss and it was ok it left my hair kinda soft but at the time a bit straw like i would and wouldnt recomed it because i ve stop usingit because i found a better one and im very happy now no more chopping or changing still got the shampoo lieying in the bathroom getting old never gonna use it goin to maybe through it in the dust bin its kinda true it leaves your hair sticky a bit i hate the smell it makes me feel dizzy i feel sick washing my hair smelling sour... After couple of times using LOreal Elvive Nutri Gloss i noticed that it made my hair kinda greasy and sticky and I got dandruff (i never had dandruff in my life!). I wouldn't recommend you use this shampoo honestly i don't like it. My hair is usually very nice without to much effort and this shampoo makes an effort. (read more)

I was actually really impressed with the advert of Laetitia Casta telling me I can have really nice soft shiny strong hair, so I bought some of the shampoo and conditioner. I used it but when I dried my hair using a hairdryer, it wasn't soft, shiny and anything like Laetitia's hair on the advert...it was dry, straw like and frizzy. (read more)

Smells great, makes my hair feel clean, shiny and healthy. Not the cheapest shampoo...at least not here in South Africa.
But still worth buying. A definite favourite for me. I'll more than certainly buy it again.
(I have medium length, oily roots/dry hair ends slightly wavy hair).

LOreal Elvive Nutri Gloss makes hair shiny and smooth. I tried many before this one and this effects from first wash itself. But can make the scalp and hair feel a bit sticky. Go for it if you have dry/frizzy hair but a big no for oily hair. (read more)

To be honest, the only reason I bought the Loreal Nutri-gloss is because I love pink and plus I needed to try something different from my usual choice of PANTENE. My hair was lacking in shine, lustre, softness and health sooo I figured it was high time to give a try to another brand. Ultimately, I am very impressed after using Loreal Nutri-gloss. My hair is sooooo much softer, bouncier, and healthier. I feel sexy. I won't be switching over for a long time, this I am sure of. (read more)

I tried the L'Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss (Pink). I think it s nice. My hair felt Soft and Healthy. It did not give the shine (like the advertisement) but its not bad. I would recommend using the whole kit for best results. (read more)

This is a great shampoo and when used with the conditioner leaves your hair feeling smooth, silky and really really soft. I was hoping it would give my long hair a 'mirror like shine' which it did not.
However this is a great haircare product to use.

I saw the ad for L'Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss shampoo in a women's glossy mag, so I thought I would try it if it was on special offer. I went to Boots and they had 3 for 2, so I picked up this, and wow am I pleased I did. My hair is glowing. It is really good, and better than any of the expensive 'hairdresser brands' I have used. I've only just bought it and I get the exact same reaction, only used it twice but I can't stop itching!! It's a shame really as this is the softest my hairs ever felt
