My dream car. Special interior design - nothing like it in its range. And the exterior, too. Many gadgets at a fairly low cost. Good engine (devil inside).

In a 1 year old car I experienced the following over 1 year.
4 new turbos, 1 new clutch, 3 recalls. It takes 6 weeks between each service and they don't fix the fault when you do take it. If you want a life of pain buy this if not get rid asap.

Its a very good car when you are looking for a small but nice coupe.
The Citroen C4 looks very nice. I drove the 1.6 (110) petrol engine and it was a great drive I was thinking to buy the new Honda Civic but know I'm sure that the new Citroen will be my new car its sporty and elegant in the same time.

The looks still inspire me, it is a very pretty car and when I bought it it was a choice between the Citroen Coupe and the Astra Sportback. I'm sure I made the right choice.

Generally like the styling ,comfort , and power, even though the radiator, rear shocks, rear brakes and discs / callipers, aircon and front air inlet cover all packed in within one year. After sales service would stop me from buying another citroen.

Smooth, powerful, re-fined drive. Very precise handling, excellent gearbox, great instrumentation. Unquestionably value for money e.g. you get a lot of car for the price. Lots of 'hidden' innovations which make the everyday commute pleasurable. Roadhold is excellent and remains poised at all times, a fact that made me decide to buy this particular car. Both my wife and I drive it and after years of 'my car' 'your car' we now squabble over who is going to drive at the weekend. The EGS is just bri ...

A fantastic long distance cruiser which is happy sailing along the motorway back and forwards to Donegal every week. Have had 13,000 hassle-free miles with no reliability issues. This car is a joy to live with despite its few design flaws and features such as the electrochrome rear view mirror (dims the lights of the drivers behind at night so you don't need to dip your mirror) and amazingly comfortable seats really make you want to drive this car.

After a month and 1,000 miles I've very pleased with my Citro n C4. The diesel engine pulls well, and perhaps could do with another 25hp, bit with the cruise control on at 70 mph, the trip computer gives around 60mpg. At idle, the engine sounds like a taxi from outside, but inside you wouldn't know it's a diesel.

The 60 litre tank should give 600 miles, which can be followed on the trip computer - in mpg or l/100km, in almost any European language.

    I'm tall (1.87m) and there's plenty of ...

I bought my Citroen C4 to replace the Ford Mondeo that I had. The Mondeo was too large for my general driving, and parking in tight spots was nigh-on impossible. First impressions of the car are great, but the gadgetry and gimmicks soon fade away to leave what is essentially a run-of-the-mill mid-sized family car.

The car looks great, is very frugal, and delivers a comfortable ride. Wasn't a common sight on the roads, but that is changing. The central LCD panel is fantastic, giving a clea ...

Initially I was very impressed with the Citroen C4 an exceptionally efficient 1.6 Diesel Turbo. Plenty of low end grunt and overtaking is a breeze.
But a few problems have arisen, the ABS and ESP packed up after 1,200 miles and the carpet trim came loose. A minor niggle is getting a soaking whenever you open the hatchback when it has rained.

I still like the car though.

I've now covered nearly 6,000 miles since new six months ago in my Citroen C4 1.6, and the diesel engine's just starting to free-up. It has a very impressive amount of torque at low revs, and is quiet right through the rev range. In practice, at very nearly 30mph per 1000 revs, I rarely exceed 3 - 3,500 rpm, although do let it sing to 4,250 at least once a week to help maintain and clean the injectors.
It's incredibly economical, achieving 65 to 70 mpg on motorway runs (at between 55 to 70mph), ...
