    Good Points: It's smooth and tastes pleasantly of vanilla.


    Bad Points: It doesn't taste to me of rum!


    General comments: I have to say I was pretty disappointed by Captain Morgans Spiced Rum. I like dark rum, and hoped this would have that taste combined with some edgy spices - maybe ginger or even chilli. I mean, it ought to have a bit of bite - the sort of thing that pirates or Caribbean gun-runners would drink!

    In fact, it tastes NOTHING like rum - it's just a rather bland, smooth, and - let's be honest - girly drink. Expensive? Well I paid 12 quid in Morrisons.

    So, yeah, it's OK as far as it goes, but I won't be buying any more.

    My fave drink of all time! Only with lemonade of course! I love to drink this when I am out. It tastes very nice and sometimes has a tangy after effect. It doesnt taste like any rum I have tried before. Only drink what you can handle as it is very strong.

    The expense of this rum really annoys me, I cant find a deal anywhere though the taste is lovely and the spice dances on your tongue I'd call this a very... mellow should I say rum.
    (Mellow rum) well recommended!

    This drink was introduced to me by a friend, it is the best drink I have ever tasted and a great mixer with coke.

    Captain Morgan Spiced is a lovely smooth rum, with that nice hint of spices. If you like rum, then this is a nice change from the normal white or dark rum.

    It is a little expensive, and I would imagine if you had too many, it could easily put you off, but in moderation, it is a very pleasant drink, particular with coke (even if it is decaf coke)!!.
