Our experience with a Siberian was wonderful. He was intelligent, playful, loving but not overly needy. He "talked" to us, learned quickly, was very clean - just the perfect pet! He used to stand on his hind legs, leaning his front legs against a wall and let us rub his belly. Having had moggy and tabby cats all my life I can say a Siberian was clearly more intelligent and more responsive, like a dog (eg. he ran to us when we called him from the other end of the house). Siberians are new to the UK and originate from Russia. They are a medium to large semi longhaired cat with a distictive chirrping sound and a very loud purr. Affectionate, playful and very loving the Siberian is a very special feline (read more)
