Good Points: Nice in a special coffee. Nothing else quite like it.
Bad Points: Can become a little sickly. Isn't cheap.
General comments: I know a lot of people that like Tia Maria but I must say that I think it is a little on the sweet side for regular consumption, though I am sure that there are a lot of people out there that will disagree.
I do have Tia Maria from time to time but I must admit that it is usually in a coffee and even that I can find a litte on the sickly side and usually can not drink to the bottom.
It is however, quite unique and there really isn't anything else quite like it, it is a coffee based liquer with a powerful, sweet taste and smell.
If you haven't tried it before I certainly would not put you off, but beware, it is for the sweetest of tastes.
