Mobberley riding school is a fantastic place to ride! It has a friendly enviroment and the staff are very helpful and chatty. The horses are very well looked after and are in good condition. The school offers childern the chance to join the pony club and the horse club for adults (even if you don't own your own pony/horse). If you want to ride at a friendly/fantastic/exceptional riding school, Mobberley is the place for you!- Read Guest's review (78 words)

Mobberey Riding School is a good school but i feel that its standards have decreased. I recently returned to mobberley after a year or two but have now quit riding.
When i returned some of the staff remembered me which was very nice but i felt it was also not as welcoming in a way. I felt some of the younger staff and volunteers were not that bothered with their work and did not care for the riders. I decided to quit as the lessons were quite boring as we were doing practicly the same thing eve ...- Read Guest's review (185 words)

I absolutely love Mobberley !
I haven't been riding there for long but when I was first looking for somewhere to ride in the area I looked round a few other places before Mobberley and none of them were nearly as good
They give you an introductory lesson to assess your ability and then find you an appropriate class or you can have private lessons
The first lesson is really good and they make sure you are always happy with what you are doing.
The ponies and horses are all lovely and there are one ...- Read Catherine333's review (178 words)

If you send your child there or ven go yourself you / they will learn alot and begin to ride. the arenas are big and the feilds are massive so their is nothing to worry about. plus the carparking is okay as you are always garenteed a place.
There are jumping and dressage comps, for those who like to compete. also you can join the pony club, put your horse on livery or even buy a horse for sale / loan!- Read shyt's review (152 words)

Mobberley riding school is a great place to learn to ride! i have been going for nearly 8 years and started a total beginner.the staff are very friendly and nice to talk to, i did my work experiance here in july and the manager was happy to let me do it there. i learnt alot from it and gt to plan lessons with an instructor which goes to show that they do plan and structure lessons and dont just make them up on the spot. The price is a bit steep (18 - 20 pouunds for an hour group lesson) but the ...- Read zea's review (308 words)

I have been riding at Mobberley Riding School for a number of years and I still enjoy goin as much as I did when I first started, the staff do a wounderful job in keeping the yard tidy and the horses looked after even in the harshest of weather. The large number of horses cater for everyone. The lessons are very well organised and I always leave pleased. There is good facilities like toilets, vending machines, two outdoor arenas, one large indoor and a smaller indoor for lead rein lessons also i ...- Read fds's review (189 words)

I have been riding at mobberley for close to 7 years now. I love it and especially the wide range of ponies and horses, and the pony club events.
I would recommend it to anyone, from the nervous beginner to an adventurous teen.

This school is going down hill in my view - the school doesn't look too bad but my daughter has been going now for about 8 years and although it has been modernised, it has now become more clinical. I wonder if in two years time my daughter will still be going or will have moved onto another school. There are riding schools closer to where we live I could go to and you never know, however, for the moment I will probably stay put .....until yet another price rise.- Read jddddddddd's review (196 words)

I have been riding at Mobberley for six years and I'm in the pony club and they do competing, pony club weeks, show jumping evenings, tests for your 'D','D ','C' and lots more. Everybody is really helpful and take note of your ability. I have made loads of friends at Mobberley and would recommend it to anybody... beginner or advanced rider.- Read elliemaddock's review (77 words)

My daughter came to Mobberly after a fall at another riding school and was extremely nervous. This issue was taken very seriously and she was placed on a lead-rein lesson to begin with. The pony chosen for her was quiet and friendly, the leader friendly, chatty and cheerful (putting my daughter at ease) and the teacher highly understanding. After a few weeks my daughter's confidence was regained and she moved to a group lesson which suited her ability. She loves her horse riding now more than ev ...- Read caulfields's review (262 words)

All the horses and ponies are in good health, fit and well-fed and cared for. The yard is generally clean, tidy and in good repair, although the schools have leaks and there are damp patches and damage to the school floors. There are toilets, and somewhere to get a tea or coffee or a snack. The instructors are mostly good, with one or two exceptions.
Where the school fails, is that some of the staff (grooms and one or two of the instructors who are employees), are very rude, surly and offen ...- Read Appleby's review (315 words and 1 comment)

I have been riding here for 10 years, thoroughly enjoy it and am very impressed with instructors.
Although there are many events for the pony club centre members, it would be nice for there to be more opportunities for adults and non members to compete/take part in training days/etc.- Read prettyhatemachine's review (74 words)

Mobberley Riding School has always enjoyed, and deserved a wonderful reputation. Unfortunately due to a recent change in management (previous owner retired) the whole tenor of the place has changed. My youngest daughter has 3 lesson a week there, each with a different teacher, with each teacher operating independently of the others, not "joined up" My eldest daughter was reduced to tears by the manager because she dared to repeat to her that the problems experienced were due to the horse, despit ...- Read gwgw45's review (143 words)

I have been riding at Mobberley Riding School in Cheshire for 5 years. I only started riding at the grand age of 48, and the staff have been so helpful and encouraging. They cater for every age group and riding ability, and have very good facilities for disabled riders. The staff are friendly and the horses well schooled. There is now the all weather track which is great fun for a fast canter.- Read bellydancer's review (89 words)
