Jagar is a good drink and goes well with red bull, but also with monster khaos. Although becarful mixing downers and uppers. It confuses the heart lol.

Anyway, cough syrup to me is a poor description to for what it tastes like. To me it is better compared to black liquorice.

Overall its a good drink, always server cold, this drink can get kinda interesting warm.

Jegermeister is one of those drinks you have to try. Its mostly based on different herbs so it has really distinct flavour you can not mistake for any other drinks. It has originnaly was destiled as a digestive medicine but as time passed it became well known an favoured liqueur.I like J for its taste and 'voltage' and it is always good excuse for a shot to improve your digestion. You have to try it.

Jagermeister is Super de duper tasty. It's just really good, time after time, never get tired of the taste like other liquors.
Best stuff on the planet and probably many other planets.

I was first introduced to Jagermeister by my big brother who had come back from Germany. I had a sip and wow, gorgeous. I thought to me self I'm saving this, it's worth keeping and it has kept me ever so happy all the drunken nights, and I spent all my time saying/thinking I hate Germany but now I love it. Good stuff, best thing the Germans ever did in my opinion.

I have never had any hard drinks in my life except for a gl;ass wine may be once in a year for an occasion. I had a shot of Jagermeister the other evening and now at the age of 50 I realized I found my drink. It is the best. I love it.

I love Jagermeister... simple. It's great as a winter drink and great to mix as a summer drink

I was introduced to this a few years a go and haven't looked back since. I love this drink, I see some people are saying that its not to be mixed with other than maybe with red bull (also known as a Jager Bomb) but I have found that coke is the best way to have it and have been enjoying it this way for a while now. A few glasses of this and the night is fully set in motion.

I will however be trying it as suggested as a digestif and see if that helps, many thanks

I was first introduced to this in Austria back in 2004 on a skiing trip where miniature bottles were the norm. Either unscrewing the cap, placing the bottle in your teeth and knocking your head back, or alternatively an open bottle resting inside a glass of RB/Energy drink so it mixes as you drink it.

A lot of people complain it tastes like cough medicine & Jager is definately an acquired taste which should only be served ice cold straight from the freezer or with lots of ice. The only m ...

Awesome for shots and bombs. Not really a lot of good mixed drinks with it. At least not that I've had. Perfect party liquor.

    Jagermeister is awesome!
The effect is inspiring, even more so when mixed with redbull or some other type of energy drink. Jagermeister is great by itself as well. There is nothing more invigorating and/or sublime than an ice cold shot of fresh Jagermeister. I will not drink any other type of hard liqueur. The best stuff ever made!

Jagermeister is, essentially, a digestif. This means if you've had a good meal, a shot of Jagermeister will help you digest your food better. Simple really. The reviewers above who prattle on about drinking it all night for kicks should probably go out and buy a bottle of Bells or something.

Drinking Jagermeister to get drunk/entertain oneself is a bit like using a trout to brush your hair. IT'S NOT AN ALCOPOP!!! But as a digestif, Jagermeister is about the best there is.

    Sorry for ranting ...

Jagermeister is a highly sweet 70 proof German liquor supposedly containing minute quantities of deer blood. It is a reddish-brown cordial with a root beer-like flavor, and it is served extremely cold and syrupy.

In Europe it is imbibed primarily because of it's supposed medicinal value, as an after dinner tonic. There are apparently 56 herbs incorporated into the formula, which was invented in 1935.

The blazon of the deer on the label is derived from the story of St. Hubertus, a patron sa ...

Jagermeister is extremely flavourful....Filling my throat and stomach with warmth. Never have I EVER had a dull night with Jager...It is the drink of mirth and adventure. No hangover ever. Joie de Vivre with a few shots of Jager to liven up the tales.

Sometimes when something tastes so revolting, you have to keep on drinking in order to confirm the fact. I guess an acquired taste is required. However, it is easy to drink as a shooter or over ice. Not recommended as a mixer.

Jagermesiter is a very strong intoxicant. Very good mixed with Red Bull at a 3(RB) to 1(J) ratio.

Jagermeister is a spirit that tastes of liquorice and is possibly one of the strongest alcholic beverages around. Even if it's not, it sure feels like it the next day. It's very lovely and warming but beware drinking too much as you might regret it the next day!
