Good Points: Dubbing between video VHS, Hard disk and DVD recorder
General comments: This JVC recorder's forte lies in its ability to dub from its video VHS, Hard disk or DVD recorder to its video VHS, Hard disk or DVD recorder making it very useful for copying old videos onto DVD. Format is DVD-R which when finalised can be played back in some (but not all) DVD players. The recorder also features an optical socket for connecting to other devices such as home speaker systems.
You need the manual every time you need to use it as it isnt very intuitive but it does the job very well.
Playback is pretty good but not outstanding.
