Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur is great in coffee, shots, or over ice. It's got a slight sweetness, but that makes it better in most drinks, helps to bring a unique appeal. This is the only Irish Cream I will buy.

Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur is smooth, good flavor; price much better than Bailey's. This is a good Irish Cream. It even holds up with ice and milk or cream to dilute it a bit.

Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur is sweeter than Baileys, but you can still taste the whiskey, so I really like it! And I liked the little bottles. We bought a 4 pack to go to an outdoor concert and chose Carolan's over Baileys because of the bottle design. Luckily we ended up liking it too!
Why is Baileys so expensive anyway?

I really like it. Why do we all analyse and criticize down to the last molecule. This is a good drink!

There is an alcohol hit that can be a bit unpleasant, but not to bad.
I really love this and would highly recommend it.

It's a great desert drink, and half the price of Baileys, and I think it tastes the same.

I serve Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur over crushed ice with a cherry. Women tend to love it more than men.

Very ' moreish' probably should be banned!!! MUST be bad for the waistline. It has a lovely, smooth, creamy, comforting texture and flavour, but Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur is a little on the sweet side.

Selling for roughly half the price of Baileys the flavor of Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur is betrayed by a synthetic caramel smell that leaves a slight aftertaste. Ingredients aren't as good, particularly the cream.

I would use Carolans in coffee or perhaps mixed drinks, but it is at best a mediocre Baileys clone. It does taste OK, but that is all.

My review keeps being truncated. To keep it short... Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur has an unpleasant residue, and I wouldn't buy it again!

Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur tastes almost as good as Baileys. Had a little more of a "bite". I suspect that the residue was because it was not that fresh. Even Baileys will go bad and turn to jelly if left in the refrigerator for a year. There is a number on the label which contains what looks like a date. If it is a date, the bottle I had was over a year old. Next time, I will look for a more recent date.

I recently opened a never opened 750 ml bottle of Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur and started to pour it after approximately 2 ozs. I poured but nothing more came out. I shook the bottle and all I heard was a clunk.
I stuck a knife into it and all I got was some type of jell.

I had recently finished drinking McCormick's Irish cream Liqueur and was able to get the full bottle out with no problem.

I have been drinking all types of Liquers as well as Irish cream for the most of my life. I am s ...
