Pools were great for the kids room was cleaned nightly, entertainment on for kids and adults. Wasn't much to do round about, everything seemed to be closing. Was a nice place to stay next to beach

I was there with a mate of mine in February. We had a great time our room was clean, the reps were so nice. I would recommend this hotel to anybody, great holiday. I hope you enjoy your hols there. Great time, great reps. Bad points, none really..only I lost my book with some important phone numbers in. When I went to reception no 1 had seen it nor had it be handed in... what a shame hey...

People moan about cockroaches its a volcanic island and your told about these anyway, its only like our ants and woodlice, you can't stop them here.
I've been going to Puerto Tahiche now for 13yrs every October for my birthday plus somewhere different in June, but people at the Puerto Tahiche are so friendly plus if you've got a problem they will sort it asap, the hotel is straight on the beach, close to all the shops, restaurants, nightlife etc what more could you ask for.
    I think some people m ...

We were self catering so I can't comment on the food but the complex was clean and tidy and everybody seemed friendly. It's in a really good location as well, literally 2 minutes from the beach and places to eat. I would recommend the Puerto Tahiche.

I have just returned from a weeks holiday at Puerto Tahiche along with my husband and two daughters (aged 17 & 12) and can honestly say that if I had read the reviews before booking I wouldn't have gone....But, Don't believe all that you read. We had a lovely relaxing holiday. Our apartment was clean and spacious with ample bedding, towels and good maid service. The pool, grounds, bars and restaurant were fine (some areas looked a bit tired but doesn't everybodys house after a year or so!) We we ...

Our kids who are 5 and 6 look forward to the mini disco when we go away. The Tahiche has a mini disco in their entertainment lounge but it is set in a completely dangerous location right next to some steps. I had read this in a review before I went but had foolishly not taken this in.
Imagine a stage ahead of you, and imagine you're a child on the dance floor facing the stage but at the side of you is an eight foot wide staircase. Now imagine you're the parent in the audience, are you having ...

We had 8 in our party 6 adults and 2 children, 3 rooms, 2 over looking the pool 3rd floor, 1 sea view 1st floor. Having read other reviews before travelling I was a bit unsure what it would be like because we hadn't booked this hotel, we were moved from the Lanzarote bay which I am glad about now because the location of this hotel is superb. It's not the best hotel I have been to and it isn't the worst either, its kept clean up to a standard of the average 3 star hotel. The rooms are dated and c ...

I had a brilliant holiday. I already knew I loved Lanzarote, but I hadn't been amongst the shops and bars before. There was always something different to do outside of the hotel in the evening, but the entertainment in the hotel was okay. It has a bar within the hotel and a separate area for drinks with children and a stage for shows. I would definitely recommend last minute travel for booking trips as the hotel staff were clueless and last minute knew exactly what they were talking about. Don't ...

Staff of the hotel were friendly but this does not make up for the cleanliness of the place. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially those with children.

If you have young children avoid this hotel, the pools were far too cold and the location of the mini disco / stage, next to the stairs, felt very unsafe.

We arrived at the Puerto Tachiche on the 25th Jan for 1 weeks holiday. On arrival, our room was not prepared properly. The toilet was not disinfected and there was not enough bedding. The first evening, we had been out and when we got back I noticed cockroaches under our beds. I got up and went to the loo to find them dropping off the bathroom ceiling. In fact they were all over. I had bought a lot of food in so I started to cook on our first morning. There was like flea type bugs around the coo ...

Make sure to totally check your room before unpacking, as there is a good chance you will be given a low standard room and will only get a better one if you ask to be moved. The resort itself is very good and quiet late at night. Great for kids. There are regular local buses to Puerto Del Carmen, so you can go to the more lively pubs and clubs there.

Aparthotel Puerto Tahiche is an ideal place to stay for families. It is fairly quiet just a bit of noise when people were returning to their rooms late at night.

Costa Teguise in Lanzarote is a good resort if you don't want to go to clubs at night, but there are still plenty of bars close to the Aparthotel Puerto Tahiche to keep you happy. If you go to Porto Celero, the yellow submarine is good. I wouldn't recommend going on the catamaran as it looked like they were squeezing people on like sardines. We are going again this year in May, and we are looking forward to Teguise market and going on the Cesar 2 boat from Arrecife, plus maybe learning more abou ...

Had a nice week at Aparthotel Puerto Tahiche A/I- made the most of the food and drink (now on a diet). Nice and clean good food and plenty of choices. The night entertainment is a bit poor and you have to sit through it to get drinks- never mind won 158 euros on the bingo. I would go back so that says it all.

On arrival at Aparthotel Puerto Tahiche we turned on the kettle and this blew the whole of the electrics so we had to boil water on the cooker, not a good start. We had a T.V in the room but were told it would cost us to buy a remote but this would have been a waste of money as the TV systems weren't working anyway. We had anice day out to see the Carnival and returned at 2am to find we had been broken into. We were one of 10 couples who had been robbed in the last few hours. When we arrived th ...
