    Good Points: Love the steaming sounds as Thomas chugs along & that steam is cold, so safe for children.


    Bad Points: Aimed at age 3+ years, it isn't very robust. Their is a link between the train & the carriage that holds the wires for Thomas to steam. This has broken 3 times in 4 months with below average play. We have soldered it each time, but I don't understand why the connections aren't stronger when aimed at such a young age group.


    General comments: We love this set, but would be reluctant to recommend it unless the manufacturers looked at improving the strength of the connecting wires in the link between thomas & his carriage.
