Good Points: Good wearing boot Cheap
Bad Points: Nike have thus far been the laziest designers with the Total 90 range.
General comments: In the Nike Total 90 III you have all the ingredients of a potentialy great boot, simple design, catchy name, celebrity endorsement (Rooney, among others), and one of the biggest manufactuers in the world creating the boots. So far Nike have been quite lazy on the design front, the defference between the original Totalisimo and the Total 90 II was a big one, the side swoosh replaced by two different colours of leather on either side, but the difference between II and III has so far been a wider colour range, and another I added on, the prices of the Totalisimo and Total 90 II have also dropped quite substantially, you can now pick up a good quality Total 90 II pair for around £25.00. This boot is perfect for all players though, the tongue has been removed to provide a bigger, smoother impact area, and the boot is hard wearing and comfy. This boot is great, but until Nike bring out a new design, the F50 range and the Preds are going to beat them on sales every time.

I bought Nike Total 90 boots last minute before a game because I'd had my Puma's for nearly three years. I chose the 90's because there was limited choice in the shop and they seemed reasonably priced. Even when I'd worn them in they didn't offer much comfort. You can hardly feel the ball so they don't give you a great sense of control. After wearing them three or four times a week it wasn't long before they started to come apart. The nasty synthetic shell was opening and getting worse every t ...

Overall my Nike Total 90's were good, they lasted me a season and are still in pretty good condition, considering the fact I used them four times or more a week they are actually very durable. I would recommend the Nike Total 90 III's just because they are good value and will last you a season(or even two!) easily.

I feel that the Nike Basic Total 90 III are just average boots. They're very comfortable, but they are so common! Loads of lads have these boots and there's just nothing special about them. For one thing, their too wide, which isn't ideal for wingers like me. People with narrow feet won't like this boot as it's too bulky, and to play the best, you need boots that fit like a sock (Adidas f50+ - amazing!). At £40 to, they are overpriced as in time, the boot you kick with will begin to go out ...

I have always had Nike and I've got a bit sick now that I have had the Total 90 3. They are uncomfortable, and you don't get much ball feel. I would slightly recommend them, not much though. Well, they are QUITE reasonable because of their style.
I have ordered some Reebok Strikezone (the brand new ones - black/silver), but I have not received them yet, so could someone please send me a comment on what they are like?
