Good Points: The staff on the Kiana are excellent; knowledgeable, friendly and made the trip a lot of fun.
Bad Points: Temperature on the boat at night
General comments: We went on the Kiana just before Christmas and it was a brilliant experience. There were 14 others on board, plus the four crew, and although it was 'cosy', it wasn't overcrowded. The age group on board was late 20s/early 30s and everyone seemed to gel pretty well.As other reviewers note, there are early starts, but given you are getting up to go and explore the Great Barrier Reef, it's not exactly a hardship. All the food is cooked freshly on board and was of high standard. You get fed and watered fairly constantly and you can help yourself from the bar if you want anything extra. The diving is some of the best in the world and the crew were incredibly professional; ensuring your safety was paramount.I would thoroughly recommend Kiana to anyone looking to dive or snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef.

The trip leaves Airlie Beach, an ...- Read richwatson's review (832 words and 1 comment)
