Good Points: Every track.
Bad Points: That this could be the end.
General comments: It always amuses me how the very people who get all uppity and offended by Eminem's music, are the people in society he is having a go at in his songs.
People should look beyond the words to the reason for them, but because Eminem is far smarter than 90 per cent of those who are offended by him, they never will.
How anyone, ANYONE, can say this man is not truly gifted is beyond me. Cleaning Out My Closet is one of the most deeply personal and enchantingly written songs in the history of music, Stan one of the most clever, Sing for The Moment one of the most enjoyable.
Then you see the artist's incredible range, going all the way to the other extreme with kiddy, funny, sing along songs like Without Me and Just Lose It.
Just what troubles people about this artist? That he talks just like normal kids on the street? That he reflects the every day hardships real people face. That he is white?
How about looking at the fact that a small, bullied kid from the gutter, with no father and an alcoholic mother became a multi million pound businessman, and through it all is a wonderful father to his daughter.
This greatest hits is truly that. It showcases the hungry MC he was starting out and trying to earn respect, the fury his showed a year later when he realised the critics didn't understand the deeper message to his stories, the wonderful music which epitomised his third album, and the decent songs which stood out in his final solo album last year because it was a poor album, or poor by his high standards anyway.
I hope this is not the end for this artist. He has taken Eminem/Slim Shady as far as he can, maybe further than he could, and it has damaged his health and evidently made him bored.
But this Greatest Hits CD reminds all his fans why they fell in love with him, why they are fascinated by him, and why they can't wait to see what will become of him in future.
Now go and spend some quality time with your daughter Marshall, and patch up the marriage to that girl you clearly love, and we'll see a new you in a couple of years.
All the best.

The Eminem Curtain Call Greatest Hits album is a great addition to any CD collection, whether you are an Eminem fan or not.
The album is a compilation of Eminem's greatest hits. It's always going to be a winner.
A perfect gift for teenagers 14 and over.

How any right thinking parent can buy Eminem Curtain Call for their child I just can't imagine. This 'artist' sends out negative messages to children everywhere and given half the chance I'd have him banned from releasing records. If this tosh is music then the world has truly gone mad and I wouldn't be unhappy to see Eminem burnt at the stake. Messages about foul language, drugs & guns, aimed at kids is nothing short of a disgusting and this government should get it's house in order and ban thi ...
