    Great place if all the logistics go well. If not, it's such a long way from anywhere that you feel you are left with no option but to accept what you are offered. Excellent restaurant staff and very comfortable water bungalows. Great snorkelling and very relaxing all round. Very poor management. Because of overbooking we lost our first day because we were travelling to and from a sister resort. Then we couldn't have our booked water bungalow for the first night at Hakuraa. Then we were told we would have to leave our room one night earlier than we had booked and travel back to Male airport well in advance of our flight home. We ended up back at Male airport 10 hours before our flight home.

    The last visit to the Hakuraa Club in the Maldives was our second visit. The resort is idyllic. We would recommend it to anyone wishing to have a wonderful relaxing holiday.
