My flight time was 6:40 Chennai-Delhi, i reach airport in time get scan my baggage when i go to counter to get my original ticket they said my weight is exceeded with 2 kg..ok i said i will take it out few things and handled over to my friend who is waiting outside,the person in counter said ok i will wait..i just went for 2min and came the counter person said counter closed..what kind of customer service is this and supervisor and manager are same no refundable,no arrange for another… Read Full Review

B777-300ER. Economy class. reading light didn't work, footrest broken, AVOD didn't work. Cabin filthy with waste tissues and rubbish strewn round cabin . Toilets filthy with urine on floor and used tissues on floor. Childs soiled nappy hanging out of bin. Female cabin crew looked scruffy. They were rude, unhelpful and thoroughly unprofessional. This is the first time I flew with Air India and I was really disappointed at the service and even more frustrated after the journey with the poor customer service. I have never experienced this in any other airline before. Date : 20 Jan 2014 , Monday. I had an AIR India flight from GOA - Bangalore at 04:00 am from GOA (see boarding pass attached) at 04:00 am. I got a message saying flight is delayed by one hour and will fly at 05:00 am and there would be no further delays (the lady who called from AIr india said this). The whole service to the level of customer service is disgusting even southall travel who book on behalf of this airline. I took this airline out of necessity and regret the whole travel experience. This airline can get the worst airline award for everything. Old and dilapidated aircrafts full of cockroaches, grandmother aged female crew members who just do not realize its time they sit at home becuz work irritates them easily. PUBLIC SERIVECE ANNOUNCEMENT: To all my Afghan friends and Family. Avoid Air India at all cost when traveling or trying to book a flight. Be prepared to stay overnight, miss your flight and pay $ 700 but leave you not a penny even to buy food before they let you fly on the next flight out of their stinking city and on their stinking Airlines. “Terrible Service, worst air travel experience ever”

What can I say? I travel frequently both internationally and domestically within the United States. I made the mistake of booking an international flight on Air India as it was the only one available in the morning. “Cheap ticket made it the choice”

Traveling from London to trivandrum via Mumbai in Executive class 15/09/2013, ment that we had to transfer in Mumbai from the international to the domestic, it involed countless checks and lots of x ray scans, the 5k bus ride gets you to the far side of the airport, on the ground floor terminal 1a, its a very small lift 1 or 2 at a time or what we plumbed for up 3 flights of stairs,we were shown to the Executive lounge, a soul destoying room with a old microwave that produced a instant cup of… Read Full Review

“Just terrible”

I just went to and returned from India on an Air India flight and it was the worst airlines I have every flown. The planes are so old that some parts of the seat will fall off if you touch them. They have insanely redundant security checks. All 4 descents were fast and landings were bone breaking. The male flight attendant has the same uniform as the pilot so you are not sure who is really flying the plane. “Fragile baggage thrown in the hold”

Our fragile baggage was thrown in the hold, so broke, and then they made no attempt to remedy the position, delaying for months, not answering emails, wanting us to be out of pocket, bullying us into trying to accept an inadequate remedy. I travelled, AI Heathrow_Mumbai_Bangalore flight on March 21. Its an afternoon flight scheduled to take off at 1.30 pm, however it took off at 2.10 pm ,a good 40 minutes delay somehow managed to reach Mumbai on time. The interiors were kind of ok considering I have travelled Jet Airways Lufthansa earlier. The seats were good enough and there good number of english and hindi movies and songs to choose. “Unfriendly Crew - bad meals - lame entertainment system”

I flew from Frankfurt to BKK with a stop in Dehli and lived through the worst 15h hours flight I experienced so far. The crew was unfriendly. Worst example was that you got mean stares when you tried to go to the toilet because they needed to move their lazy asses to let you through.
