“The only weight loss resource I actually lose weight with”

My mates either use slimming world or weight watchers and when we discuss losing weight etc it is clear they have no idea the calorie content of food or the meals they eat. I can actually tell them how many calories the meal I've made had. I also find weight loss resources by far easier to use once all my recipes are completed and saved and I have to do is make sure I weigh my food before I eat it, easy peasy. “Elderly persons weight loss 2.5 stone in 6 months”

Present age 81 years decided that as I was classified obese @ 15.5 stone then I should do something about the problem. Approached Weightloss who from the start have always been pleasant to deal with and never has there been a hard sell. The thing about weight loss resources is the calorie counting its really simple, you can eat any thing you like as long as you dont go over your calorie allowance. It's a very good website for keeping track of dieting, fruit and veg intake, calories, exercise etc. good forum with helpful members / staff. good articles on different diets / types of exercise, nutrition are published regularly. inspiring stories from people who have used the website and lost weight. “Everything you need to lose weight successfully”

I used WLR for 5 years, starting at 21 stone and ending up maintaining for 3 years or so at 12 and a half stone. The tools on the site taught me about the calories that I needed to consume to keep me losing or maintaining weight, giving me an understanding of what the results of my over eating were doing to my body. Wholeheartedly recommend the planbot tool which tells you what to eat, based on your food preferences, on a meal by meal basis. It's a great way of re-educating yourself if you have got into bad habits, or even if you just don't realise how calorific your regular diet is. You are able to calculate easily your daily calorie intake through a large data base which covers an extensive range of foods. Once you have established your target weight loss and the daily calorie allowance needed the rest is easy. I joined Weight Loss Resources in March 2012. I was an overweight child, an obese teen and a morbidly obese adult. I have tried every diet under the sun but never got to grips with the actual reason I overate.
