    South Star Studios Hotel is a great place to stay cannot say how highly i would recommend Stars had 2 weeks of heaven in September.The location was great and the appartments were clean and better than we thought we would get. Kostas and Mila went out of there way to make us feel at home and could not do enough for us.
    The food served in the restaurant was good value and all food was well prepared,The bar area was a comfortable place to have a quiet drink and a chat with other guests.
    I hope that we can return next year!!

    I have just returned from Stars after spending an absolutely delightful 10 days at this wonderful holiday location!!!!

    The owner and his wife made us feel at home the minute we stepped off the coach.
    They are a great friendly couple and looked after our every need down to the smallest detail and even cooked us some great dishes that weren't on the menu , my wife is a vegetarian and Mila created vegetable versions of the all time classic greek dishes.

    STARS is a great place to stay and enjoy your holiday.
    You have everything you need and more.
    Nice people,nice music,the best restaurant in the area,nice resort.
    It's a dream place to be and enjoy Greece.
    All the best for them.
    Trouble makers should stay at home.

    Our first visit to SOUTH STARS in Corfu - the best 2 weeks holiday I have ever had. The room was basic but very clean and tidy. Food and drinks were excellent, the owners provided an excellent service and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location, set off the main road and about 10 minutes from the village gave me the peace and quiet that I wanted.     What a great place the room was great at south star studios hotel and the kitchen was fine to prepare small meals.The pool was clean and the sunbeds were nicely laid out.The people who run the place were a very nice family who all chipped in to make our stay enjoyable.The restaurant food was exceptional value and very tasty.We spent many a night sat at the bar talking to Kostas and the other guests.This is certainly one of the best properties in the area, quiet and most all you feel very safe.We ...

    south star studios hotel - I really dont know what Planet these people come from who are writing these reviews stating the Hotel is fantastic.     What a fantastic holiday this was for me at south star studios hotel. Peaceful, relaxing & very comfortable. It ticked all the boxes for me. I was taken in by the location...just off the main resort. It had everything I needed, sunbeds, a lovely pool (perfect for cooling off). The accommodation was very clean, and well maintained.     I wanted 2 weeks peace and quiet with excellent weather, great customer service and food from south star studios hotel, this is what I got. Though Self catering I already knew that I would be eating out - I was not disappointed.     We have just spent a week in South Star appartments. It was a last miniute booking and after reading the bad reviews we were very surprised by the property.The rooms were very big with 3 beds in most with a nice balcony.The rooms were very clean and had a small kitchenette area which had enough equiptment to prepare simple meals.They were also airconditioned which is a real bonus for somewhere given a 2 star rating.The restaurant and bar area were both clean and had a good range of local foods a ...

    After reading some of the reviews on this site, i felt that i would like to express my opinion of st george, south star studios hotel.

    i have to agree completely with the comments made in that the apartments were filthy. Our room was not very nice at all. not to mention the pool area/play area. i think it is unfair of people to comment on other peoples reviews when this is a site for personal experiences and opinions of the place. why would people come on here if they were not telling the trut ...

    What a fantastic week at STARS, we have fell in love with Corfu and particlarly St George South. The accomodation although basic was clean and cleaned daily.
    Nothing is too much trouble for them and the food is wonderful, being a vegetarian they went out of their way to cater for my needs. We had such fun in the evening with quizzes, bingo, karaoke and games with staff who totally understands the British sense of humour and goes that extra mile to ensure that you enjoy your stay.

    VERY disapointing. After arriving at stars studios I couldnt have been more disapointed. All I remember thinking was how much would it be for a flight home. To sum it up, the rooms smelt musty, when you sat on the beds they felt damp, the toilet had dirty brown stains on it, the kitchen area was dirty, and to call it a self catering apartment was a joke! I wouldnt even think about making a sandwich in there never mind dinner. And even if you did you would then have to go out onto your balcony th ...

    I have been to Stars for several years. The accomodation is clean has a nice pool and bar area.all the appartment are cleaned regularly and are maintained to a high standard.The food on site is perfect if you do not want to walk to the village and is of a very high quality.The bar is well stocked and price are equal to the area prices.The area of st george is very quiet so a nice relaxing holiday can be had by all.We will be returning next year!

    Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, this is mine along with a few others that where there when we stayed! After reading reviews prior to arriving at South Star Studios Hotel, I thought we had got a good deal on a holiday, although there were quite a few bad reviews, I thought I would give it a chance. That was a very big mistake! South Star Studios Hotel is an absolute disappointment!

    The service was excellentat south star studios. They worked hard day and night to keep everyone happy! Everywhere was clean and well kept. The food was delicious, home made and a fantastic variety. We loved the the location as it was away from the main road and not too far from the beautiful beach which stretches for miles! The resort is brilliant and nor a fast food outlet in sight. Overall a very relaxing break, wonderful service and hospitality. We would definately go again

    Our second holiday in South Star Studios was even more special than the first. We met like-minded people used to holidaying in Greece who all agree that whilst STARS in rated as 2 star accommodation the welcome you receive from Kostas and Mila is always 5 star! The apartments are regularly cleaned and you have everything you need to make snacks in your room - who wants to cook when on holiday?     Absolutely a fantastic holiday at south star studios hotel.
    There are no words to say how lovely holiday we have had at Stars.
    We are very happy for our choice and next year we will try to visit Stars for longer.
    Nice people,nice atmosphere,beautiful place,all was great.

    We have had a great holiday at South Star Studios Hotel.
    Stars is the best hotel in St.George south Corfu.
    Friendly atmosphere,nice people,great music the best location.
    Stars restaurant is the best place to eat.We have tried all the dishes and the food is fantastic.
    Soon we will return back and this time we will stay 3 weeks.
    STARS now is our second home.We loved it all.
    Thanks to our hosts for the great holiday.

    Visited in July 2007 and going back again this July.
    Have recommend it to all our friends, family and work colleagues.
    We go back to see the best hosts ever!
    I don't know that the people who wrote bad reviews actually stayed there. Had they ever been to Greece before and know its basic wherever you go and Stars is above the average accommodation. Any problems you do have only have to be mentioned and they would fix them straight away with a 'no worries'
