just used Clairol 102 ash blond -- great. i use it every three months the color really 'sticks' My identical twin uses the same shade and has the same result. nothing that I really dislike but have to be careful and make sure I go 'past' the red area

I used to love Clairol Natural Instincts, I used light blonde for years and always got complimented of how beatiful my hair was. Now they change the formula to something called no brass ?????? whatever they put in this I turned my hair grey, something horrible in between ash blonde. Im very unhappy with it.

I have read the reviews and I think if these people tried the "Brass Free" line they would be happier. I have used Clairol Natural Instincts for a while and tried others and was dissatisfied with the lasting results and the coverage. Brass Free covers good and seems to be lasting better; plus, the color is truer looking and natural. Thanks for "Brass Free".

I used Clairol Natural Instincts 9G Dark Golden blond and it turned my hair a dark auburn. My natural color is a dark blond. I called the Clairol hotline and they told me to wash it out with clarifying shampoo every day and my hair would return to its natural color in about a week. I hope it works. They said if I put another color on it while it is so dark, it would not lighten it.No more coloring for awhile. I will live with my gray!

I've used Clairol Natural Instincts many times and a variety of colors. First I did Sedona Sunset (16RG) which barely changed my color but it was the color it said it would be. So I redyed it in a darker shade Golden Mahogany (18RG). It was like Jean Grey from X-Men. So I faded it out and put Tweed (14) and Pecan (18) over my hair. It was just more auburn than red after that which is what I wanted but it didn't look as good as I thought. I waited a month or so and put Brass Free in Medium ...

I too used Golden Honey 9G by clairol natural instincts to get my hair to be a darker blonde color. To my surprise....my hair turned dark auburn!! I thought I did a bad job at maybe mixing up the colors but after reading everyone's reviews I was not the only one with this problem!! I really do believe that Clairol put the wrong dye in the wrong box!!

I used Clairol Natural Instincts Golden Honey (9G) yesterday and now have reddish brown hair. I was pale blonde as a child, but it has now darkened to about the color pictured on the box. I wanted to perk up the color and add highlights and had never put color on my hair before. I should have stuck to what I'd always thought and left that to the experts. I don't like the color results at all, but my hair is soft and shiny. I'm afraid to try any other products as I don't want to damage my ha ...

I bought Clairol Natural Instincts Golden Honey (9G) color to attempt to delay my needing highlights again. Basically, root touchup. The color on the box was perfect for the highlight color I use, but my hair is now reddish-brown! Thankfully, it's only been 3 days, but the red is starting to fade out (already), and the brown I'm left with is more my natural color. My hair turned out soooo dark that I honestly thought that one of the other colors got packaged as the Golden Honey until I read ...

I also has great success with Clairol Natural Instincts. I had my hair colored at the salon 2 days ago, I went in with a light golden blonde colour with paler blonde highlights, and dark blonde roots. It was looking a little brassy so she redid the highlights and changed the base to a much darker color, I would say dark blonde to match my roots. It looked ok but I just haven't been able to get used to how dark it looks overall, very dull and flat and makes me look so washed out. I tried usin ...

I have naturally dark blonde hair, very dead and lifeless in color. I had some grown out highlights and wanted to perk up my darker color until I could afford another salon visit. I purchased the Natural Instincts Golden Honey 9G color (without reading any reviews beforehand) and was HORRIFIED when I dried my hair and found it to be a dead auburn brown that I had long ago and that took AGES to get rid of. Avoid this color at all costs!! I will never again color my hair at home. There's a reason ...

Clairol Natural Instincts gas no strong odor. The price is great. I used #18 pecan (medium golden brown on my dark brown hair last night. I like the overall color the softness and the low odor of the solution compared to many others.

I used Clairol Natural Instincts Shade number 2 Sahara. I called the Clairol hotline before purchasing the color since I already had salon colour-highlights and lowlights in my naturally medium blond hair. I am very glad I called because they recommended a completely different shade of blond than the one I was going to buy. I was going to buy one of those new champagne blonde shades but b/c of my highlights they warned me not to do this. I have to say I am very happy with the results I achieved ...

Clairol Natural Instincts lasts very long- very even- affordable price- no harsh smells-In my opinion not as damaging as permanent. I used to have very soft healthy amazing hair until I decided to go with my dream color- blue black hair. Since NI didn't have Blue Black, I went with Feria and made a large mistake. I have natural dark brown hair, I love that blue black geisha look. After I dyed my hair with Feria, it looked great, felt awful. In a week it seemed to fade my hair two shades lighter! ...

I used SEMI-permanent black dye somewhere back in mid-October in preparation for Halloween. I really like the way it turned out but now it's the start of February and people are actually telling me my hair is getting DARKER and not turning back to it's original brown at all. When I first heard that, I wasn't too happy but now I'm not too sure how I feel about it. I mean, it really is a nice color and I've grown rather used to it.

I also used the Golden Honey Shimmer colour and my golden blond hair turned a dark red auburn. What a shock!! I have had to pay a haridresser lots of $$$ to try to get it fixed and I am still not back where my colour was and it has been over 3 months.
I had used Medium golden blond in the past and I did get a nice golden colour and it makes your hair feel healthy and shiny.

Clairol Natural Instincts. Great stuff I love my shade! It made my hair really shiny, smooth, soft, and silky, overall nicer. Now after dying it I don't have a callic (or whatever its call) anymore and my hair doesn't pop up in the back. But the only bad thing is that my hair would fall out easily.

hi I am in love with clairol natural instincts. its a shame I cant find it in the united kingdom. whenever i go the states I buy packets of it. i tried the midnight black on my hair and it made my hair so shiny and thick. I recommend it to anyone who has dark hair and wants black hair. I am the envy of all my friends. I swear by this product, its the best.

It is the best and doesn't damage hair.

I had beautiful blonde hair and I used the Golden Honey 9G for some golden accents and it turned my hair a brownish red... I am taking my Bridal portraits in a few days and now I had to spend $160 at a salon to get my hair back to my blonde color...!
