Freakonomics is a book about economics and looks at the reasons why things are as they are. The book asks questions such as "What do teachers have in common with Sumo wrestlers" and other seemingly silly questions. The example quoted is a fascinating exploration into incentives, cheating and ultimately human nature. I read the book from cover to cover (which is rare for me).
