Until very recently I have been getting 2 Mbs from Fast4. Today it is down to 1.4 which is not good. However,I pay less than £10.a month and this is excellent value by any standard. I can't remember the download limit, but it is less than I need.

Everything in my experience has been negative experience, they are the worst internet provider I have personally so far been with, as I have never been so annoyed by FUP, in my opinion the customer services were also unhelpful in my experience.I do not recommend Fast 4.net

Fast.4 net used to be good but now they have download limits as far as I am concerned, I do not recommend fast4.net. I signed up because they offered unlimited downloads then one month after bbc iPlayer comes out and people are downloading more they wrote to all their customers telling them they were restricting their downloads to a pathetic 15 meg a month in 5 days time. They obviously knew they were going to do this considerably before they informed their customers but chose to cynically give ...

When they restrict your service they basically turn it off, in my experience anyway. It takes a minute to 3 minutes to load a page up for me, in my opinion there is no common ground with them. Plus as far as I am concerned they don't offer value for money, If you have there unlimited package I seem to not be able to use more than 15Gb a month which makes there service not worth using for me because you will find many more cheaper and better. There customer service is poor because they expect tec ...

I recommended a number of people to the service as it was quite reasonable. I never get paid for the recommendation as I thought I would.

As far as I am concerned they suddenly changed their usage policy limiting the amount I could download+upload resulting in me getting cut off for the rest of the month as I had exceeded their limit.

I am a bit annoyed to say the least that as far as I am aware they have not yet informed me that this would happen. If it had been brought to my attention I may ...

The ISP that tried to limit their internet from *UNLIMITED * down to a very low fair use policy overnight... and as far as I am aware without telling me, who then went on to restrict me as a customer account speeds to 56Kbps as far as I am concerned.I have had enough of Fast4, they cant treat me how they want and get away with it.I do not recommend www.fast4.net from an unhelpful service.

Since the switch to the new backbone supplier they have dropped the unlimited service, but I have already reached 11 of the 15Gb limit and so they have put me on amber warning. As a result I have a greatly reduced access rate, even though I have informed Fast4 that I am canceling the service. It's cost me £27 for my MAC code (which I'm still waiting for) and they won't reset the speed unless I signup for one of the new packages!! (erm, why would I do that if I've just canceled?)
    I know I'm ...

Fast4 are the worst isp that I have ever had dealings with, and I should know as I have used both Pipex and Tiscali! I joined a year ago and at first the speeds where good. However, after a few months they speeds generally declined up to the point where I cannot now even open web pages as far as I am aware. I don't consider myself as a heavy user, 40-50gb/month. But in the last few months this has been reduced from 60gb to 30gb and now down to 15gb, all on a service that I signed up for on the b ...

    Connection problems almost weekly.
    Variable limits each month
The last straw was when they improved the service again and reduced the LIMITED limit for the month but only told customers on the 3rd day,if you go into RED you basically cant use the internet .

The cancel your account was offline for over two days finally got a MAC code hope they allow me to leave to my new isp without any problems. Since the change to skynet things have become as if they just want your money without giving a good ...

It was all going great when I signed up. It seems they do try to please new customers at the beginning, maybe because of their advertising campaign offering money for referrals. But then you ' re stuck for 12 months and soon I was receiving no service. Not just that, after a while, it is actually a question of luck to be able to do any browsing at all. And when you want to cancel, the only option is through their online members area, funny enough, the system is down most of the time and you cann ...

I was having problems with my Tiscali connection (Tiscali are some of the worst I have experienced), so I temporarily signed up on 12 February with Fast4 for a month so I could use dial-up until I got the Tiscali problems sorted.
On the Fast 4 website, in the FAQ's, it is mentioned that if you want to cancel your account, you can do that at ANYTIME, and that you have to phone an 0871 number on the day that you want your account to be canceled. So I did, and after 12 minutes of hanging on the ph ...

"Fast4.net - Broadband Internet Access - No Port Blocking - No ...Unrestricted broadband at unbeatable prices - No Port Blocking - No Restrictions." This is how they advertise as far as I am concerened. When I used more than a certain amount of bandwidth my connection was restricted as far as I am concerned, to less than dial up speeds too? And as far as I am aware they will not lift this restriction even after billing for further months. I do not recommend fast4.net.

Thought this would be a great internet provider with only a one month contract. Soon realised that in 7 years of broadband use, having been with Aol, Tiscali and BT - Fast4 internet has been worse for me....

    Do not recommend Fast4.net broadband!

I agree totally with the other fella! Their so called "NO LIMITS" internet changed overnight into a VERY VERY low limit fair usage policy this should be a lesson to everyone that there is no longer a TRUE unlimited broadband service Im sad to say! I have been penalised for using 12.4gb this month! Surely that should be illegal! I have also asked for my MAC code! Anyone got any suggestions for my next move?

I don't recommend Fast4 because the 'unlimited' 'unblocked' 'no restrictions' messages being put out by fast4.net has not worked for me. If you run bittorrent then you may be capped like I have. First of all I was told it was because I was downloading 24x7 and so I scheduled BT to work only off peak then it happened again and I was told it was because I had downloaded too much on a weekly basis! Strangely enough when capped browsing is un-useable whether BT is running or not but encrypted BT sti ...

Thanks to fast4 I've been netless for 13 days now and I'm expecting it'll go on for quite some time... I've spent over £50 on phone calls to their tech support, obviously people reading from a list. They refuse to listen to you and insist everything is due to your router configuration so you humour them and restore your router to factory settings, set everything as they tell you and it still doesn't work... at which point you'd think they'd try something else but nope, it's still you route ...

    "Uncapped" yeah right.
I struggled to get anything over 1kb/s on anything other than http stuff.
And the unmentioned £20 early cancellation fee. There is meant to be a minimum of a 1 month contract, but I find they still charged me after that.Max MTU 1440. Instead of 1500.

I have used Fast4 for many months now and can give you an accurate review if you are willing to read my honest review.

I got interested with the company after reading their banners on their webpage.

NO MIGRATION FEES, NO CONTRACT, NO CATCHES, NO SMALLPRINT !!

Yes, it all sounds too good to be true, well the answer is, it isn't true at all!

When I signed up to them a few months ago, at first it seemed great, no problems at all.

After a while, I then started experiencing problems. ...
