I ordered this watch online and it is just terrible. The side pin needs to be screwed in out/in to use and the thread on the screw gets worn out really fast. I had to send it in to get fixed. The strap is really stupid. The flashlight is finicky and often doesn't work. Finally, this watch doesn't show the date. I paid a lot of this watch and I never use it. Stay away from this watch! I hardly believe that it can be considered a Military Watch. The time hands went out of sync after three month and so far I could not find anyone to fix it. The electromagnetic recharger stop recharging. I am contacting MTM hoping that I can send it to be fixed. Either way the product look to me more of a toy than a Combat Ready asset. (read more)

Yes they say it's "Battle Ready",...don't think so. I owned for 2 months, the first time i was walking into the ocean with it on i was in water up to my thigh, a small wave hit my wrist and the pins fell out and the watch off my wrist. lost it. my Gshock has been on my wrist for 8 years and still works. I brought a mtm warrior watch, from special ops UK. all i can say about the watch and the service is excellent. I'm very pleased with the watch, its quite a heavy timepiece. but didn't mind that. Ive had many watches in the past. but when i came across the mtm it was just what Ive been looking for. the strap is good and strong, and the clasp is well made. the black coating on the strap and watch seem to be good quality. the trillium tubes could be a bit brighter, but that said it can be seen... Very Heavy watch so would think it was studry. It is not with in a week of owning the black on the band wore off. The timers is not centered and looks dumb. The clasp just broke and no one can fix it. My thought would be stay away it not what you think it is. (read more)

I Have the MTM Black Falcon in titanium, I absolutely LOVE this watch!! The 5 LED light modes are awesome and very handy for nighttime activities!! I previously owned the Blackhawk, I liked it but wanted the white LED lights so I sold it to get the Falcon. This watch is very well built and tough!! I have worn and abused it daily now for over 2 years and other than some small "rub" marks in the coating it still looks brand new!! The PVD coating that MTM uses is the best in the business!! I've... (read more)

I bought an MTM Warrior watch 3/4 years ago and have abused this watch for the entire time,.......dropping it onto concrete, smashing it against hardened steel in work 1000's of times, even forgot to tighten the bezel( after changing the time then went swimming with it on), and it ended up full of moisture! - not a problem tho just took the back off and let it dry. Im also a downhill biker, and this watch has survived many encounters with rocks after i come off the bike. This watch is... (read more)

I just bought a used MTM Blackhawk watch off Ebay and it's totally awesome!
A tip for anyone who owns one - there were a few small scratches and wear marks on the black plating so a light application of gun blue quickly had the watch looking like brand new again. (read more)

Black Patriot w/ Black Steel Band and Rubber II Band
Absolute Best Buy.
For the money it is well worth it's $550 price tag. It is virtually indestructable, and has survived nearly every element of war. I have been commented thousands of times on that watch, and many people in my company have purchased an MTM watch.
It's strength: The Black Patriot is not heavy nor "weightless", but it is just the right weight for 24/7 use. It's luminisity. It glows where it is not... (read more)

Just unpacked my new Blackhawk. I ordered it with a steel band and the additional balistic band. Leaving the steel band on for now, because it makes it look pretty classy. I was pleased to see that the writing on the face of the watch had become smaller. But as far as I'm concerned the words "special ops" could be left away. But that's my opinion.
The watch feels good and looks the part.

Ordered a black Patriot online 15/4/09. The MTM UK website, and all the internet fusion websites stated it was in stock. Following day got an email from them saying its not in stock and wont be available till the end of the following week. Phoned them today to see about an alternative to be told 'we have pretty much everything else in stock', so i asked for a steel Warrior with a ballistic nylon band. 'Sorry that one's not in stock either'. My patience ended at that point. Utterly utterly... (read more)

The MTM Special Ops Black Hawk titanium version is the best model weighing in at only 4g deep case mega bright facial lights, when it's on your wrist it's a real eyecatcher could be mistaken for a much more expensive piece of wristwear.lovely presentation on delivery with it's ballistic seahorse case a watch with a real statement.
to much advertising on the face would be better off plain to show some
more of that lovely nasa style carbon fibre...........the titanium bracelet sucks for... (read more)

The MTM Special Ops Black Hawk watch is good. The price in the UK is far more than if it was bought in the US. It is also the same price from everybody in the UK. Why is it 100s of pounds more in the UK than in the US (read more)

Bracelet is great but the screw in is easy to strip if putting ion strap or band. Overall however it is excellent value and so far withstood 2 years serious wear. Very satisfied. (read more)

I would advise people not to buy any MTM watches, I have heard from a few other people and they have also had similar issues with the screws breaking in the strap, faulty product at a high price and little or no after sales support, no customer service in my situation. (read more)

I received an MTM special ops black Warrior the other day and would have to say i am impressed. The watch seems to be made very well and of solid construction and the tritium gas tubes glow brilliant. The face is clear and easy to read and the hands are big and luminous which will make easy reading under water. It also has a ten year battery. The watch seems great and I am very impressed and hope to get many years use out of it. And would recommend it as a good buy and a good dive watch. I... (read more)

Overall, the MTM Special Ops Black Hawk watch is a top class performer. I've worn the heck out of other watches, and this one has taken the abuse and asked for more. I really didn't think that a watch priced under a thousand could be this well constructed. Every part is built with jeweler perfection, and came flawlessly from MTM. The lighting mode is great, I can see it perfectly in mode 1 in the dark, and mode 2 is great for finding things in the dark or blinding an assailant. Also, I... (read more)

I actually own a Black Patriot. I am in the US Army and I abuse my watches very much; not on purpose, but my job takes a major toll on them, and they get the brunt of the abuse. I have previously owned Luminox Navy Seals, Timex ironmans, and Casio G-Shocks, and I have never come across a watch quite like the MTM Special Ops Black Hawk.
Referring back to my previous watches, I shattered two Luminox face crystals, and my Timex and Casio's got water logged and stopped working. I contacted... (read more)

The Special Ops watch comes in either Silver (Thunder Hawk) or Black (Black Hawk), and is used by the special forces (SWAT, and Navy Seals etc.) in the US. I believe it is relatively new in the UK, and compared to some of the other military watches I have had in the past, it is unparallelled in terms of its build quality.
The major difference between the Special Ops Watch and any other watch I have seen, are the light modes on the face of the watch. The brightness of the light takes you... (read more)
