It is a very good gun and does the job perfectly and looks really good. It fires fast and uses natural gas and 6 mm BB's. The only problem i have had with the gun is that if their no lubcriant the topside can come off the main body for the gun. (read more)

Written on: 02/08/2006 by Glock Fan (1 review written)

My KJW Glock 23 is pretty accurate at 15 yards (45 feet), hitting the target all in the black at about 5 inch groups firing off-hand.

My version which I bought in the Philippines does not have a trigger safety. The safety on the trigger is actually missing. I'm not sure if the version shipped to this country is such, but I have seen a couple of copies around with the same missing feature. Any comment on the missing trigger safety?

I wouldn't want to prejudice any Airsoft Glock pistols at... (read more)

This model only hase the on-frame safety, which you operate by moving the fake serial number plate.

The KJW G23 does not have a trigger safety, but instead it has an "on-frame safety." The fake serial number plate on the bottom of the gun is actually a switch that activates the safety.

I bought my KJW Glock 23 around two weeks ago. It has been working fine since.
When using green gas it is very powerful and can sometimes penetrate a coke can. When using .20g bb pellets it can shoot around 30-40 meters depending on the wind. The metal slide is of top quality and dosen't look like it will brake soon. The magazine is also made out of sturdy metal and won't be breaking anytime soon.
The gun also has adjustable hop- up which comes in handy when shooting outdoors.
On the gun... (read more)

KJW hit the KJW Glock 23 FMV right on the head; this is a good look copying of the Glock. My G19 doesn't have the RIS system built in like the KJW G23. But other then that they have the same look and feel. Like its real gun cousin it is a fast accurate shooting simulated weapon. I've placed rubber grips sleeves from huge on both.

I often do home clearing, home invasion and multiple hostage rescue scenarios some employ the use of my K9. The G23 RIS system comes in handy with the dog on leash... (read more)

“The KJW Glock 23 is my first gas blowback airsoft gun....”

Written on: 14/12/2003 by Tracer (1 review written)

The KJW Glock 23 is my first gas blowback airsoft gun. I had many cheap springers before and I also own CO2 guns, an airpistol and a slingshot. I wanted to have an airsoft replica that looks good, can take green gas and isn't too expensive. The solution was KJW. Many consider KJW to make aweful guns, but the Glock 23 is the total opposite. Originally it was designed by Tokyo Marui, famous for its automatic electric guns (AEGs), as the smaller Glock 26. KJW (Kuan Ju Works, based in Taiwan)... (read more)

Good review tracer, only gripe is your plus points are that it is very realistic... well your Austrian, like glock, you should know that real glocks dont have metal slides they are composites or ceramics depending on the model

usha45:
Sorry, thats in Hollywood movies only.
Real Glocks definitely have steel slides, not composites or ceramic. Just common hardened steel, trust me. Ceramic or Composites wouldn\'t make sense. They would break if used and, back to Hollywood, wouldn\'t make the gun invisible to metal detectors, as all internals are also made of steel, not to mention the magazine full of metal bullets.

Silent's Response to Tracer's Review

Sehr gut! Ist das Waffen macht spass im ein Skirmish? (sorry, im only learning german, only been taking classes for 1/2 year now)
Anyway... I know some Real Glocks have steel frames, but I've seen some with ceramic frames too. My Ruger P85 has a ceramic body, so its not out of the question. Good review though!

To Silent: Ja, die Waffe is gut fürs Skirmish :) With ceramic you mean synthetic material, right? (Polypropylen or Polyethylen). If so, then it's true of course. But I've never seen a metal lower frame for Glocks. Must be cool somehow.
