This beer is fantastic quality for the price. Even if this were at a similar price to Stella, Heineken or any of the other big name 'premium' beers, it would still be among my first choices (Heineken would probably beat it, but I don't drink Stella as I find it rank). It blows out of the water all the big name piss-water that clutters up the shelves for the imbecilic, tasteless, lager-lout masses, Fosters, Carling and the like - yet it is still a lot cheaper than even these travesties of... Went to my local ASDA to get some beer and instead of £3.24 for 4 the price had risen to £3.96!! Instead of 81p a can, it is now 96p. Shocked!! I bought Stella instead. Come on ASDA, I can accept a modest price rise but this is ridiculous :( I bought this product because it was comparable to the big name ticket, Stella, but at this price I may as well just spoil myself and drink Stella instead... Better than Stella, in taste and in price. I agree with the other 5 star reviews. A smoother taste than Stella. You WILL get drunk if you have too many though so be careful and don't rush drinking it. (read more)

I prefer this to Stella and with this you're getting genuine Belgian imported lager as opposed to most Stella which is brewed in the UK.
It has a smoother taste and gives me less of a hangover.

A very reasonable price and a very reasonable beer.A light, tasty beer with no nasty aftertaste, great for BBQ. Its strength should be watched as it might catch you out!! Its on sale at a supermarket beginning with A for £1.79 for four cans so get it while you can, I bought 3 slabs today (cleared the shelf)and will get more tomorrow if the offer still stands

Asda's Biere de Belgique is top class especialy for the price. You dont often find a 5% lager resembling Stella Artois for £2.96. Even dropped the price by a few pence! To me its like drinking Stella, not much difference at all in the two drinks really. (read more)

Guys / Girls must say love a beer and without doubt its the best value and great tasting beer for its price I would put it up against the best and it is just as good. ASDA Biere de Belgique deffo 10 out of 10 for this product. Having a party or what ever all will enjoy and will be back for more. (read more)

Asda Biere de Belgique is a cheap, refreshing, premium strength, full bodied, good head. I'm a big fan of stella. On a bit of a budget at the moment and for me this is better than most top end brand beers. An absolute bargain at £3.07 x4 cans. (read more)

Asda Biere de Belgique -
I work in the off-trade and a customer of mine whom I was helping to purchase large amounts of lager for a party recommended this to me. Let me tell you, I was very pleasantly surprised. An excellent value lager, the quality of this product would suggest a price twice what ASDA are charging. Congratulations to ASDA for providing such a quality "own-brand" product. At this price it is one to remember, especially in these financially troubled times.

This is one of the best beers I have tasted, I have recommended this to my friends and fellow shoppers in store.
I will go for this before any beer in store as it is really good value for money, If they served it in the pub I would drink it.
