General comments: You can always rely on a Hardys wine for quality. The Cabernet Sauvignon is no exception and is one of the better ones to come from this wine maker. It has a superb dark colour and is it has excellent body.
It is a very smooth wine that can be enjoyed on its own or with red meat dishes, especially great with lamb. It has an excellent flavour; fruity, strong with red berry, and a hint of vanilla which adds to the enjoyment of this lovely quality red wine.
It has a good alcohol content of 13%, so can be quite potent!!
If you are having friends for dinner, (not literally!) and are not sure what red wine to buy, then this will be a sure winner and will offer something for everyone's taste.
Highly recommended.
