Good Points: Course is very nice. This is a course for all handicaps,. It's quite open and the greens are big.
Bad Points: Very poor clubhouse and not enough buggies.
General comments: Worth a visit to this course. Don't expect much at the club house. There is not enough sitting space on the veranda or the inside restaraunt. We have played this course 3 times now and every time we have had to wait for buggies. (this is one course you could walk).
Saying that, it is worth a visit but dont expect to sit down and eat or drink at the end of the round if its busy.

We played the Santana Golf Course on the Costa Del Sol for the first time this year (2005). Although this course is rated as the 11th best course in Europe, it was rather disappointing. The clubhouse is one of the most basic of any of the courses we have played in Spain (and we have played a few !!). The course was good, but not challenging enough for us. The biggest downside was the cost. We won't be playing this course again. If you really want your moneys worth, play all 3 courses at LA CALA.
