    Wilkinson Quattro
Unusable with oil based shaving foams(eg Gilette series). WS refuse to put warnings on their packaging

The blades of the Wilkinson Sword Quattro are simply not sharp enough to give anything close to a comfortable shave. The pain was getting so immense that I stopped shaving at all for some time - thinking that the problem was with my sensitive skin rather than the razor. However, having switched to Gillette Mach 3 I am now getting a comfortable shave with none of the redness or bleeding I experienced from the Quattro.

The Quattro is at best fair but if they could sort out the pricing and also the head release system it would be a very good system indeed.

over all the Wilkinson Sword Quattro is a really good shaver, other than if you loose the package you forget how to replace the trimmer battery

I used to shave with a Mach 3 and decided to try the Quattro. It gives an excellent shave (particularly on my collar line) using just soap and water. The blades last me two weeks (double that of Mach 3) so when comparing prices the Quattro is clearly superior. Perhaps the detractors are not shaving at the right angle.

So male grooming might not be something that takes up priority these days, especially with current trends. Nor might reading a review about it. Wanted to share my experience of this particular product anyway.
Shaving products generally make me laugh, every time I see an advert on TV some company have released a new improved version. In other words, added an extra blade. An extra dimension to the whole mundane experience men go through every morning (unless they're George Michael, Bob Geldof or t ...

As most guys, I started out on Bic razors. I didn't really enjoy the time it took to shave with them, so from then I decided to buy an electric shaver, which lasted quite a long time until the blades wore out. So I thought I would go back to normal shavers again.

After a day of using a Bic again, I was terribly upset of the cuts it gave me on my face. So I decided to check out what was on the market, and I found the Wilkinson Sword Quattro. I used it for the first time, and it was brilliant. ...

I bought a normal Wilkinson Quattro as I fancied a change from my usual (and brilliant) M3. Out of the box I noticed that the handle and presence of the razor looks much nicer than any razor I've seen. The thick metal slab of a grip feels great in the hand, but it all goes down hill where it matters - shaving!

The actual blades seem extremely sharp which is great but the angle they are at does not agree with my face at all, around my chin and sideburns, this thing rips me apart without mercy, ...

I obtained a free Wilkinson Quattro razor from my friend. I did not buy it. I never considered shifting from my faithful shaving stick which has only two blades, which are enough!

I would never have considered buying a four blade shaver. I think that had Gillette not come out with a three blade shaver, Wilkinson would have never dreamed of marketing one with four. It's their way of saying ours is better.

Quattro comes with a big seating base, the purpose of which is still unknown to me, ap ...

Wilkinson Quattro - I bought the Quattro due to my electric shaver breaking and was pleasantly surprised. Prior to buying it I had read some of the reviews but thought I would try it anyway. It delivers a really clean shave. On the bad side, the blades cost more than the razor.

Wilkinson Quattro is a waste of money and time for a man who wants a close comfortable shave and just wants to shave once
I tried it a few years ago and after a few attempts I had to throw it away.

I recently purchased it again due to the money back offer, which I have to be honest made me decide to try it again. Perhaps I was using the wrong shaving cream, etc..

I kept the receipt and packaging regarding the money back offer very carefully for a few weeks then carelessly threw it away. ...

Wilkinson Quattro - This is the best blade I have come across. I have tried all the Gillettes (Machs etc). I use the Quattro to shave my head too. This is the first blade that never causes cuts. And it lasts much longer than, say, the Mach 3.

The Wilkinson Quattro is too expensive, new blades are also very expensive. Clogs up far too quickly and very difficult to clear, I had to use a brush! Perhaps the blades are too c;ose together.I am very displeased with the Wilkinson Quattro razor, and will bin it once I have used all my blades.

A few weeks ago The Sun newspaper printed tokens on consecutive days that when put together could be taken to an Asda supermarket and redeemed for a free Wilkinson Sword Quattro razor. Although I doubted it would be able to meet the high standards of my Gillette Mach 3, I'm not one to pass up on a freebie so took them up on the offer.

The product itself is the first four-blade razor, no doubt brought into the market to compete with Gillette's successfu ...

I bought this Wlkinson Quatro razor as an alternative to the Mach 3. A moment of madness really because since using the latter I have considered it THE best razor I ever owned.

Shaving with the Quattro razor is altogether slower than I am used to. The feel of the razor does not have the confident edge I am used to, and whereas with the Mach 3 you can shave in a quick straight sweep (like the man on the ad!!) if you did the same with this razor you'd end up in casualty!

    I shave most of my b ...

I've always been a little sceptical of the claims made by Wilkinson about their blades - I've tried all the Shavers but for closeness of shave, lastability of blades and low-irritation, none could ever top Gilette products. Until now that is.

Having coarse, wirey stubble on sensitive skin, I need a razor which will give me a close shave without leaving my face feel like it's been given a going-over with a sanding machine. With all of Wilkinson's previous efforts this is how I'd end up feeli ...
