The Mendoza RM-2003 is very easy to switch out the barrels. Found the rifle pointed well getting hits on just about anything you put the sights on out to 30 years or so. My rifle worked like a charm and is an accurate air rifle in either caliber. I did not experience the issues others reported.

I use the Mendoza RM-2003 gun to snipe off partridge usually about 30yards. I target shoot a GAMMO Popper trap, but man this gun is a wee bit to powerful for it cause i have been deforming it. Overall I do like this gun. I shoot the partridge in the front half of my lot, so I don't disturb the deer I hunt in the back. Also keeps the neighbors from knowing that there are partridge in the area, since alot of them are old school, when they heard my .22lr, they come walking up the road the get a few ...

The Mendoza RM-2003 was my first air rifle, over priced, paid 350 dlls, i didn't know much about rifles then, I hadnt researched enough, so if you're reading this you probably know more I knew about this rifle when I bought it. I think this rifle is bad, I really wouldnt recommend it to anyone, unless you're a collector and like the cool look of it, it looks like an m1 garand. Other than that, I found it to be inaccurate, very fragile, sights jump out of the barrel/chamber every 150 shots. Loses ...

The 2003 certainly advances an interesting concept - interchangeable barrel inserts (very easy to swap) allowing the gun to function as either a .177 or a .22 caliber. And frankly, it comes close - very close - to being the proverbial "Jack of all trades".

I'll start with the good stuff. There's a lot of neat features in this rifle - the barrel insert design is done very nicely, I'm convinced that it doesn't effect accuracy to any significant degree. The caliber can be changed in 15 seconds o ...

The gun I have is actually labeled a Hammerli German model but it is made in Mexico and is the spitting image of the Mendoza RM 2003 so I am assuming it is made by Mendoza for Hammerli and is in fact the RM 2003 with a different name on it. At any rate I would like to say that at first I was disappointed by the fact that when I first got the gun from Pyramid Air who had it listed as German on their website, I saw it was not made in Germany. The outer box had China on it but the inner box said ...

I purchased this rifle several months ago and had a very hard time getting it to group. I was so frustrated that I pulled the scope off of it and left in my basement for 6 weeks while I shot other airguns. Well, about a week ago I decided to try and get the rifle to group again, I mean, I like the way the rifle looks and feels and just hate to give up. So, I mounted a Wal-Mart purchased $28.00 Daisy scope and grabbed 7 different kinds of pellets. I was determined to make this rifle group.

I got a Mendoza RM-2003 last Monday, and I took it back last Monday. Looked great, felt great, and shot hard. I couldn't group any tighter than 3 inches at 10 yards though. I tried a few different types of pellets but didn't help. I exchanged the gun for a Gamo CFX fixed barrel rifle. Had the Gamo sighted in after 7 shots and started to put groups of five with all holes touching at 10 yards. Less than half an inch! Many shots would pass almost undetectable through the same hole, and that's with ...

I have the Mendoza RM 600m in .177 caliber and have been extremely satisfied with its power, looks and overall performance. When I saw the RM 2003 switch barrel model, I had to have one. I ordered mine from cabelas and when it arrived I shot a few shots with the peep sights it comes with. I didnt test it extensively but I had positive initial impression. I later mounted Tasco 4-12 mil-dot scope on it and tested...again I had no complains. I expected the gun to be much louder but I was very ...

I had the Mendoza Combo for three weeks. Ordered it from Cabelas and it came packaged very well and in four days of ordering. I could not wait to get it outside and shoot it. My normal range shooting is 100' in my back yard. Been shooting a Sheridan, pumper, and can easily get two inch groups with a peep sight.

I mounted the scope on the Mendoza and it shot all over the place. Groups were probably one foot with an occasional flyer that would go beyond that. I am a long time varmint hunter a ...

I bought the Mendoza RM-2003 at Cabelas for $230 and it came with a hooded front sight and a peepsight that clamped onto the dovetail. I have shot the gun from 50 yards and find that the accuracy is unbelievable at that range (in .22 caliber). The best feature on the RM-2003 is the ability to change barrels in about ten seconds, you will still have to zero in your scope in again or else your POI will change. My favorite part about the gun is the wooden stock, it feels like a real rifle (for thos ...

I really love the look of the Mendoza RM-2003 air rifle. It is rated at 1050 fps in .177 and 900 fps in .22. I doubt that I'm getting close to those velocities with the heavy pellets that I'm using, but it does seem to be adequately powerful. I have been shooting BB guns since I was 12, but on my 15th birthday I moved up to a Sheridan. I still own it and it has only been repaired once in those 42 years. The repeated pumping has become difficult for my old shoulders, so I decided to look into ...
