Bad Points: None
General comments: We have just been away to Tabe, Egypt with our 2 children, one of which requires a wheelchair. The service we received on both outward and homeward bound was brilliant. We were escorted through to the plane and bypassed much of the queues which really helps when you have a child with special needs. We were extremely grateful for this and found it took a lot of pressure off. Thank you for acknowledging that people do sometimes need special treatment and help and for providing such a good service.

We left on FCA040 London Gatwick - Male (Maldives) 20/04/2008. We suffered a 28hr delay, the flight was already showing a 3 hour delay before the check-in opened. After 12 hours finally landed in Abu Dhabi where we were put into a hotel for the night whilst the crew had their statutory rest period. At least our hotel had the basics, I heard some poor people enjoyed a half built hotel without hot water or adequate facilities.Of our seven day holiday in the Maldives we actually saw only five. On t ...

We flew from Gatwick to Bridgetown Barbados on 2 April 08 with First Choice, we had no problems with the airline or the flight at all, although we waited on the tarmac for 'plastic tumblers' for over an hour, which was reported to be the fault of the airport catering company.
The seats for very roomy to sit and for you legs. Seats are not pre-allocated, as when we checked in the assistant had a pile of boarding cards in front of her and selected two together for us. The emergency exit row on the ...

In my opinion a poor meal or a good meal wont make or ruin a flight, but being comfortable will, I was well impressed with the seats and leg room, very comfortable. Food was ok. Staff average. The film choice was poor. However I will recommend and have done already. Pleasantly surprised. Well done.

We flew from LGW to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic...I cant say a bad work, check in was fine, we was on time, I had lots of leg room and so did my partner, we watched lots of movies, played lots of games and eat and drank lots! Staff were friendly, attentive and funny. They really looked after us. I have just booked my holiday to Sharm El Sheikh with first choice and am looking forward to flying with them again.

Food very good and hot. I have fussy child and she ate all of it on both flights, so must say something. Small portions but still very filling. Drinks offered twice on flight. Flight attendants polite, helpful. Flight out on time, return left early. First time flying with First Choice would be certainly fly with them again/recommend.

Suffered over £160 losses because of delay caused by aircraft breakdown but apparently beyong FCA control so cannot reclaim. Presumably then they believe that breakdowns are an act of god!
Not told of our rights or offered free phone calls as EU regs 261/2004. The seat pitch is ridiculously small even my wife was complaining after a couple of hours and she is 8" shorter than me.
I will not be booking First Choice again!!

My husband and I have just travelled from London Gatwick to Luxor Egypt. FCA 594 31st March and returned FCA 595 on 14th April.
We chose a First Choice flight as we had read that they had more legroom than most other charter flights. Therefore we were very disappointed to find this was not so. I have now discovered on your website that it is only 28in.
We are fully aware that you can buy extra leg room but this adds a lot to the cost of a holiday especially if you wish to sit together as 2 seats ...

LGW - HOG in Cuba. Out on Mar 6th on a 767 and a little apprehensive as it was a late booking and all the extra legroom and premium seats had been allocated (or so FCA reps told me when I enquired).
However a 0630 check in at First Choice's 'Any Flight today check in desk' enabled the question to be asked again and 2 extra legroom seats to be found without problem.
Row 11 (C&D) was where we were put and these are right next to the boarding door and also the toilets (great if you have a bladder ...

We flew in a Boeing 767 or 777.The flight was brilliant, there was 10 of us 6 in economy and 3 in premier: Premier:FANTASTIC, the seats were brilliant, attendants were great, food and drinks free. Lots to watch was excellent for £600!! Economy: Good leg room, great movies and games for the kids. The kids got free bags with games in as well. Food was good, shame about buying the drinks!I am glad i chose First Choice, as we was going to go with Thomas cook which I would of dreaded as there ...

First Choice is very much a up and coming airline with there Merge with ThomsonFly who will be knowing as TUI Travel and with the new Boeing 787 aircrafts coming next year... they will be THE FIRST UK!!!! AIRLINE to have these aircrafts, even before Virgin and BA...I have flew FCA many a times over the year and get feed up now and then with comments from other people on this site...
Yes the aircraft is 2-3-2 for the setting and there is a reason to give extra legroom throwout the whole aircraft ...

Very tiny seats with ridiculous amount of leg room! No tv screens nearby so couldn't watch the film. Food was horrible and overcooked. I've flown with them a few times and never had a nice experience. First choice holidays are cheap but you have to suffer on the flight.

If you elect for no meal beware you will be stuck at the back of the plane- we were in row 40, narrower than row 39 and cannot recline- double whammy. It is unacceptable for a flight from UK to Egypt.

Manchester to Bridgetown return with Premium upgrade. All seating pre-allocated by First Choice on both outbound and return flights, so no choice of window or aisle seating. Poor 2-3-2 seating arrangements throughout the plane, so do not expect to sit next to each other. Both ways, my wife had to sit in the row in front of me and we were not the only ones. Outbound flight FA's cheerful and attentive throughout, but unable to supply any drinks whilst we sat in the aircraft and waited on the groun ...

Checked in at Sanford, Orlando for flight back to Bristol, told change of aircraft from 767, and 6 hours delay. Actual delay turned out to be over 7 hours and the aircraft was a 757 with minimal seat spacing. Food was a joke, take it or leave it, entertainment was screens hanging from the cabin roof so no choice. Lights on full throughout the flight so sleep was impossible. All I can say is never again, worse long haul flight that I haver had.

Had a very good flight Jan 08 Gatwick-Cancun, seats comfy, food suprisingly good, entertainment system very good (premier class), crew efficient-reasonably friendly, however problem with toilets which apparently happens all the time, and on a 12 hour flight is simply purgatory specially if you have a weak bladder as I do!
Return flight even better-amazing crew couldn't do enough for you, and humourous as well !, Problem with entertainment system which was fixed quickly and politely by crew, once ...

The checking process was horrendous. The seats having been allocated, why the need to arrive so early and stand around, or sit if a seat can be found? Good point the plane arrived on time. Bad point cramped conditions, knees of travelers behind the passenger in front were wedged in to give discomfort to the passenger;s lumbar region. Seat pitch 29" ?

Officious, unfriendly staff. Nightmare queues at check in. Seats with so little space that even I at five foot two and reasonably trim was cramped and uncomfortable. They tried to charge unreasonable amounts of extra cash from customers by way of add ons like sitting next to other members of your family!! Food and drinks all extra. Not even a glass of water for free!!

We flew home from Tenerife on flight No. FCA 3523 on 07 March 08 to Birmingham. We did originally book both ways but was changed to go out with Thomson flight No TOM6567 on 05 Feb 08. The outward flight was better for leg room. We were at the end of our holiday pleased that we did not have to endure both ways on First Choice with the tight legroom. I am sorry to say that in future we will have to consider flying with an alternative flight to first choice.

Just flown Taba-Gatwick.This is the worst airline I have ever flown with. Seat pitch for a 5 hour flight is minimal. Crew only interested in selling overpriced drink etc. On boarding at Taba at least 2 overhead bins full of stuff they were going to sell, another full of video equipment leaving little room for bags Cabin crew not interested very reluctant to move anything. After landing at Gatwick a passenger sitting next to my wife turned on his mobile phone and received a call when the aircraft ...
