This is the worst airline!!!! The seats are very small and uncomfortable. No screens on back of seat only a head screen in the aisle which was in black and white!!! The crew are more interested in chatting to each other then serving the passengers. The meal which is an extra payment was not fit for human consumpition.

i came back on a First Choice Airlines flight from Luxor Egypt 17/06/09 and more than half the passengers were ill with a bug of some sort, the crew were fantastic in the way they dealt with everyone on board even when they were getting harrassed by certain passengers who thought it was their right to treat the crew like dirt.
the flight i was on was thom 669 at 5.30p.m approx i hope the crew read this as it is from one greatful passenger.

Travelled back from ibiza 1 wk ago with first choice, flight was very uncomfortable, you need to go a 6 month diet on special k to fasten seat belts, a lot of people complained, the staff said it was an old plane, and will be up dated to match thomson fly, which i might add were very comfortable, didnt have a problem with them.

I was very unimpressed with first choice. I specifically asked to depart on a certain date and they sent me the invoice with all the incorrect times and dates on it. i requested to be sent a new one and they had actually booked my holiday i was unable to go/come back on. I finally managed to swap my annual leave in work so that i could go on the dates first choice had arranged and I had to reuquest an invoice with the correct info on it 4 times! It complete;y stressed me out as I wasn't sure whi ...

At start of First Choice Airlines outbound flight crumbs and food all over floor,at start of inbound flight dirty cutlery on seats. In flight entertainment not working for whole ten hour flight. Had to queue at end of plane to order drinks from cabin crew on instruction from cabin crew- in other words no seat service so standing around by toilets and at night they closed their curtains and you have to walk in on peoples' conversations (quite imtimidating when they all turn around to stare at you ...

Whow, I have never seen a grumpier person at an airline incheck desk as the First Choice girl at Glasgow Airport that January morning.
We where checking in for a flight to Madeira and although it was Monday morning 6 am, it was still a remarkable sight to see somebody that grumpy.
Than we met her colleague at the gate and she was not happy to be there that early either and shouted commands to the passengers in hardly understandable dialect.
On board I was shocked by the lack of space, the chairs ...

Operator I spoke to repeatedly said we should rather book for more people than what we think will be attending and that the deposit paid for the extra people will not be lost but just subtracted from the final payment. Now that it came to final payment they refuse to substract this additional deposit from final balance due.
It does state so in their T&C's, but then the operator should not have repeatedly told me otherwise.
Now that they have my money they are not as friendly and helpfull anymor ...

A good flight experience overall, Although i woul'd fly with
First Choice Airlines again given the choice. I usually fly Virgin Atlantic. Outbound, there weren't enough blankets to go round, which i never experienced before this flight. If i travelled with them again i would have to upgrade, otherwise i'd have no problem in picking another carrier.
Suprisingly good amount of leg room. I'm 5"8 and am usually in alot of discomfort on planes but this was not a problem inbound or outbound.

Cabin staff very helpful food @ drinks very good entertainment excellent. I did not like the fact that the plane stopped at the far and of Manchester Airport and we were taken by bus to the main building it was quite a long walk after a long flight when we were very tired. This was on a flight to Aruba in the Caribbean apart from the last comment I would fly with Thompsons again.

Great airline,, flown with them many times. Staff always friendly and helpful. Good value for money. However, the radios never worked (not really bothered) and if you travel on a 757 it is noisy as the planes are quite old.

Good point, the honesty of the tour rep in our resort. Bad points, since Thomson took over First Choice and used their flights to take passengers to Egypt, First Choice still in my opinion use the short haul planes for long haul flights. There is no leg room on these flights, and the plane is just not big enough to be anywhere near comfortable for a journey of over five hours. Due to the size of the plane, the service is very slow because there is only one aisle for passengers and air crew to us ...

Overall, 8/10 for FCA 062 cabin service, aircraft clean, mood lighting quite relaxing.FCA 063 6.25 /10 for cabin service (8/10 for one stewardess). No mood lighting for overnight flight. Poor choice of only two main courses. Whilst still a long way out from Gatwick only one toilet working in a full B767 - totally unacceptable - why do First Choice aircraft continually have problems with the toilet facilities?

We flew Manchester to Faro on an A320. When we checked in we was told this flight was running about an hour late, then on the screens it stated we would get the next information in 2 hours time, then it stated the next information would 2 hours further on from that.We had been delayed by 3 hours when the announcement came over that we had to collect vouchers from the customer service desk (£5each), at this point no information had been given to us why we was delayed and I thought we was go ...
