“Price you see when entering card details is not actual...”

This is the worst company I have ever booked with. They are the only company to have ever sent an email the day after I have given my card details upon seeing the final price and confirmed, to say the flight price is actually more. I have booked on serveral occassions with Expedia and have never had this. I will never use Travel Republic again as you do not know the holiday price when booking… Read Full Review

“Do not use! ”

I recently booked a hotel using TR. I was notified by email a few days later that a modification had been made to my booking. I was informed that they in fact could not secure me a room in the hotel that I had paid them upfront in full to book the week prior. They told me they had secured me accommodation in another hotel in the area at NO EXTRA COST to me. Booked with Travel Republic in September 2015 & requested 3 twin rooms. Two weeks before travel in April 2016 spoke with a representative by phone & again asked to be assured that twin rooms had been requested, which I was. On arrival at hotel was informed that it was 3 double rooms that had been requested & allocated. “Last Minute Misery”

Booked for Turkey in Jan 2016. Notified by e-mail with 20 hours before flight departure of hotel alteration..Spent next 6 hours trying to sort out the mess with alternative hotels and alterations to tranfers. Six telephone calls and 14 e-mails later stil not sorted. Contant cry of we will phone you back...never happened once. To get an email the day before travel stating my flight had been cancelled is not acceptable. Easyjet insist they advised TR at least a month ago of the change. Then to be told thataihad to pay for a private taxi because the shuttle bus had stopped running at the time of my new flight was insult to injury.there was no empathy or concern shown. “Didn't provide hotel booked”

Booked through travel republic in September for the following April. Receive an email 5 weeks before travel date informing us that the hotel is fully booked. We then get offered 3 rooms in one hotel & 3 rooms in another hotel, splitting the group up! Will never book through this company again. Great when it goes great, awful when it goes wrong. I have used travel republic for roughly eight years and until this year the experience has been fine. The website is easy to navigate and you can set up a personalised part of the website to view booking details etc. This year (2016) I have had two experiences where things went wrong. “Terrible booking and service”

I was over charged for a rental car booked through Travel Republic, they were hopeless at sorting the refund, I had to go through all 4 companies in the chain to get the refund. Very Poor service from start to finish, including providing details of where to collect the car, not including the mandatory fuel refilling charge in the price of the rental (over 100% surcharge), did not deal with the additional overcharging issue swiftly or to completion. Do not I repeat DO NOT ever book through travel republic! They are a sham of a company. They have emailed me today to say the suite I had booked for my wedding has actually been processed as a completely different (and much cheaper) room!! “Watch out for the huge cancellation fees”

You may only have to pay £1 to book a hotel in some cases with Travel Republic but if you need to cancel a booking like I did they will charge you a huge £40 (FORTY POUNDS) to do this. When I complained to them about this extortionate charge they didn't even bother to reply to me!!! This is something they don't tell you when booking!!! For a start: Someone may ask, how comes there are only a few reviews that merit TravelRepublic only 1 or 2 stars while 100's give it the full marks? ... the answer is simple. count how many lines there are in 5 stars reviews, and you will learn that those are people who simply found no problem so they wrote a line or two, while the people who really suffered write pages and pages, so read those first, and don't be fooled. “Beware cancellation charges with £1 deposit”

Booked a hotel with a £1 deposit, wrongly assumed that if I cancelled I would just loose £1,WRONG!! Had to cancel and was then charged £40! This is in line with there T & C but is it fair.
