I have recently returned from an all Incusive holiday at the telemachose hotel in Dassia Corfu. The brocher states a family run Hotel, well unless they are Greece-Albanian-German I can't see how this could possibley be a Family. The meal times are run like school dinner lines and the pool had not been cleaned for some time and drinking water and ice cream is not included for adults and there was no BBQ or greece night and the A.C. cost me 50 euros for the week. To close I will just say I will not be using Olipic holidays ever again as they do not tell the truth and the rep did not stand still long enought to make a complaint(did you Jo).

We have just returned from two weeks in Tingaki on Kos, book through Olympic. Having never travelled with them before, we were a bit concerned about some of the reviews on here, but as old Greek hands were delighted with the Olympic experience. The accomodation, Miros Studios, was basic, but comfortable, cleaned every day except Sunday, which is normal. The pool was clean and well kept and the bar and reception were staffed by British ex-pats. We lasted a week and paid for the aircon, far too ho ...

DO NOT go to Kavos or book with tomas cook or olympic, the brochure and website 'dress up' the hotels, it was a complete disgrace. Highlights from our holiday...water smelled of sewage when you shower, so bad that we had to shut the bathroom door, towels and bedding was never changed in our week stay. The resort is disgusting, dead animals in the streets, most businesses shut down and smashed up cars just left randomly in they. Self catering facilities were awful and cleanliness a joke. When com ...

We booked our holiday to Kefalonia at the Buena Vista Studios in Lourdas for August 2010 online and found the process flawless and seamless. Olympic have by far the easiest to use website of the big tour operators, and we especially like the option to pay off the balance of your holiday in smaller chunks on the website when you could. They were friendly, informative and efficient. Once in resort, the transfer and welcome was good with the literature provided being informative and detailed. When ...

Have just returned from Kos and an Olympic holiday. Not impressed with this company at all and wouldn't use again or recommend.

The Olympic reps were invisible; the accommodation simple (no problem as most on Greek Islands is) but a smoke alarm deliberately and obviously disabled, plus loose electrical sockets next to the sink and power socket cables wired together and visible underneath the sink is not at all acceptable. All this in family accommodation.

Our apartment walls were littered wi ...

have just returned from Kamisiana in Crete staying at Katsikoulakis apts/studios if you can call them that!no reception area, snacks available if your lucky. Our rep Sharon very unhelpful, more interested in selling excursions.Swimming pool ok for cooling off.No sunbeds on the beach, which was all pebbles anyway. had to walk up dusty tracks for half a mile to find anywhere decent to eat,(breakfast was advertised at poolbar but no one around until gone 10am)had to travel by bus or taxi everywhere(unl ...

Me and my friend booked a holiday through thomas cook, and the operater was olympic holidays. The deal was £495 all inclusive to Crete - hessonisos. The hotel was call Semiramis Village Hotel 4*.
Overall i am not impressed with this holiday. My first thoughts on arriving at the hotel, was it looked modern and up-to date. After staying the week, we were not impressed, the staff were unfriendly and did not look tidy. Also the food was horrible. One night even giving me food poisoning. We wen ...

We stayed at the Venus Beach Hotel, Paphos, June 2010. This was advertised by Olympic Holidays as a 5* hotel. In our opinion, this hotel was no more than a 3*. The reasons behind this being very poor quality & choice of food, to the point we had to eat out on several occasions. Air conditioning was noisy and inefficient. Entertainment consisted of one night of Greek music, one night of fire-eaters & one night of bingo, which recurred the second week. On either side of the hotel at the front, the ...

Although the overwhelming majority of people on this site have the same opinion as me I thought I would chip in anyway.

Olympic have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. We booked a 3 trip excursion with the rep at our hotel in crete and specifically checked if the last tour clashed with our departure - 'no, no no dont worry it will be fine'. The day before we find it does clash and we cant go on the tour (99 euros each for 4 adults) so we see if the rep can do anyt ...

Olympic's aren't transparent with their booking conditions. I discovered that we had no accommodation for our last day in the resort ( Lagana - in Zakynthos, Greece. My 12 year old and I asked for help from Olympic, and even offering to pay for the uncovered day and incur the expenses by moving to a different hotel myself, all that the local office (rep)could suggest was that my child and I spent 14 hours at the studios' reception. On top of that, the accommodation was dirty and catered mainly f ...

I have just returned from our family holiday to Kardamena in Kos, although the holiday was good I have some points which I think you should take on board in relation to your holiday reps.

We went along to the welcome meeting as advised, it was an eye opener the content promoted nothing but booze this and booze that, it encouraged young kids perhaps on their first holiday away to get absolutely wasted. I was very disappointed, perhaps I chose the wrong place to go but if this is the content of ...

Olympic holidays are cattle-class tourism at its most cynical. They seemed to be the cheapest, which is why we went with them, however once they've got your booking they're only interested in extracting more cash from you in any way possible, and they won't respond unless there's something in it for them.

We've all come across the 'welcome meeting' where they ply you with a cheap 'courtesy' drink and flog you overpriced excursions, (a sales technique that exploits people's natural tendency to ...

Beware; do not book through this operator. Our holiday (Sailing in the Ionian Sea) has just been cancelled because they didn't get enough people. Left us gutted with no other suitable alternative. This was a trip that we booked 6 months ago; we shall not be returning to Olympic and we advise you to stay clear.

Having recently returned from a holiday booked through Olympic, all I can really say is that I was really disappointed with the company as a whole. The bug-infested, cramped accommodation was a complete let-down, only made worse by the "don't-care" attitude of our rep and the other Olympic reps we encountered during our week-long holiday.

Having never complained about a holiday before, I found it shocking that our request for some alternative accommodation that met the requirements of what we h ...

Please note - this review is for Olympic Holiday Car Hire Service Only - which I prebooked to accompany an existing holiday booking for Cyprus.
Booked a Suzuki Jeep (as advertised in brochure) over telephone 3 wks prior to departure. I requested a Jeep and paid extra for service over standard car hire. Upon arrival at resort I was informed at the 'get-together' that car was to be supplied by Hertz and not Olympic Car Hire, and that all Olympic prebooked car hire is now provided by Hertz. Upon de ...

Booked two trips with bank card, both rejected by Bank so obtained cash from ATM in Crete & paid. Came home to find cash taken out of my account without permission as I retained the cancelled dockets. If I had not checked my account on arriving home I would never have realised that Olympic Rep had taken £188. The letter received back from Olympic was a total lie in respect what had occurred. TIP. Never give Olympic Reps your bank details.
