If you like Dusty Springfield music then this is the place for you. It was the last CD played at night and then put on again next morning by the "day staff". We calculated that in the 7 days the CD was played 15 times!!!!!! Everything needed was in the studio apart from space but having paid not a lot then no cause for complaint. This was our third trip with Olympic to the same place. To be brutally honest we like the apartment, its locstion and the hospitality of the owner but as they are block booked by Olympic it is the only reason we use Olympic. Unfortunately Olympic are pretty much the cheapest method of visiting this island - and it shows! The flights - with Small Planets - were the worst we have encountered (for those who know about such things yes even worse than Strategic). Three years ago Olympic seemed... (read more)

Booking with Olympic website - easy. First time on a 'package holiday' trepidation. Result ? Treated like a V.I.P. from the moment of booking, to the airline Easyjet (had heard bad reviews about them) but they were courteous, extremely helpful, and a pleasure to fly with. Arrival at Crete, met by a very charming Olympic Rep. would had a Taxi waiting for us, and was whipped off to our Hotel. Along dusty roads and tracks, feeling "what have we let ourselves in for" but we were not... (read more)

I had an amazingly, peaceful holiday on the the Isle of Paxos just last week, staying in Lakka. The Olympic Holiday Rep was so attentive and professional there and everything from starting your journey to its end is well planned out and thorough. I knew this though from another trip with Olympic Holidays last summer. Loved the gentle, friendly and open islanders and the unhurried pace. The apartment could not have been closer to the beach which is perfect for the children. You could also walk to the next beach along for supplies as there is only kiosks nearby. However, you did have a very steep climb to the village for bars and shops. The restarants on the beach were very good and there were a few to choose from. It would be hard to find anything negative about this clean, comfortable, efficient and modern hotel. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay, and each was large and well-equipped, with tv, tea and coffee, fridge, jacuzzi bath, balcony etc. The whole site has been sympathetically constructed, low-rise, and consequently spread over a large area. There are two restaurants, and three bars, providing food and drink all day long, until midnight. The main restaurant provides an... (read more)

Violatos did what it said on the label. The studio was relatively small and a bit short in the kitchen utensils department (no frying pan) but was kept clean throughout our two weeks. No complaints on that score. Perhaps we were unlucky that, during our stay, we suffered a lot of noise, mostly from a succession of serial door slammers and people talking loudly in the corridors.
