I can't believe how dreadful the new e-mail set up is with BT. I couldn't even use it on Google Chrome. It takes ages to delete and you have to be really careful to click exactly on each box or it opens the e-mail instead of deleting it. “EMAIL ADDRESSES DELETED”

BT HAVE DELETED ALL OF MY DISPOSABLE EMAIL ADDRESSES when they changed my email account from BTYahoo to the new BTmail system. There were approx 30 in total which were used by banks, building socs, shops, insurance and other companies to provide me with important information. This is becoming a very frustrating web site to use. Each time I try to access the site the page either does not load at all or takes a very long time and on every occasion I have to log in. To get my e-mail is also a frustrating and lengthy process and again I am having to log in every time to access my account. My wife still uses BTYahoo Mail. When she logs on it remembers her password but she has to type in her email address in full. Now how dumb is that? It is the opposite way round to what it should be. A colleague or anyone else who knows her email address could get in straight away!

There really was no need to replace something that was accessible and easy to use with something that is clunky and less than useful. Unbelievably, I have to log in twice to read my mail! I agree I have been with Bt for 30 years, it overcharges and its impossible to login. Bt sport is hard to access and dony bother ringing BT because you just cant understand what they say and if you could it is rubbish advice. I will leave ASAP

“Awful reliability, awful customer service. ”

We have had ongoing problems with BT Yahoo for 9 months. Problems are mainly re vanishing emails - now you see them, now you don't. They never reappear.Given that I use my inbox as my 'pending' folder, and this is where they routinely vanish from, it's a total pain. I resort to creating folders to move emails to from my inbox as the only way of preserving them. Having problems with your password being rejected? Save yourself the hour on the phone trying to resolve the issue. There are possibly thousands of us in the same position and having talked at length to the technical team I resorted to calling BT to ask how I cancel BT broadband - it was only at this time I was told by the customer service rep that BT have been having problems with Yahoo and that they are terminating the contract. BT yahoo mail is so slow and frustrating I hardly use it now ,much prefer Gmail. If you have a problem with a line or your internet ,you get put onto the useless help lines .Eventually an engineer will come and see you but you could be waiting weeks. Unfortunately if you only have a fixed line you have to use BT ,they have the monopoly on these telephone lines. “Service standards meltdown”

I spent three hours today trying to resolve a BT generated Yahoo access problem. During the process their Tech support guys managed to tell lies,invent policy of their own making,insult me and my wife and at the end of all of this leave the problem unresolved. “More outage, more rubbish service from BT”

Like everyone else the support is useless and you cannot get to speak to anyone in the UK until they have passed you around several people who read a script out to you to try even though it is not going to help.
