I have just activated my Gosim prepaid in Australia and keep getting a "sending USSD" display & immediately after a "Request not completed" display. This interrupted me while adding contacts. The message attempts to resend evey 60 seconds. Do I need this, or how can I change this to run silently in the background without it interrupting what ever I happen to be doing on the phone? Many thanks.

Go to the GoSim web site and ask them direct, they usually respond very quickly, never had this problem personally.

Not sure - I had a GoSim but didn't have this problem. Since then I have usually purchased SIMs at th airport in countries I visit - it is much cheaper !! I found the GoSim worked fine, but it cost somewhere in between the astronomical rates charges by Australian telcos and the normal rates of the local telcos in whatever country. And, overseas SIMs have usually been very reliable.
