Good Points: Great customer service - saved a big chunk of money on my calls - easy to use - simple to top up online and does exactly what it says on the tin.
Bad Points: Not any I can think of other than the packaging was a bit cheap!
General comments: I'm a bit surprised to see negative comments about this product as it doesn't chime at all with my experience.I travel quite a bit in Europe with work (and the occasional trip to the Far East) and it's long been a bugbear of mine that calling home is so stupidly expensive. The Gosim SIM card answered that particular problem pretty effectively. The Gosim SIM card arrived promptly as advertised and I found it easy to operate. I wonder if there's a misunderstanding about the product because all it consists of is a SIM card that you clip into your phone in place of your regular card when you are away. After that you make calls just as you normally would, although you are using a different phone number to your usual one so you'll have to be sure to tell friends and family of your number change before you travel. After that, it was good to go. The savings you make do differ from country to country (using the card in the USA isn't that great, for example), so it is well worthwhile checking out the call charges on the website for the country you're traveling to before you buy.I notice other reviewers have mentioned that there is some kind of 'machine' that 'calls you back' and other strange things. Basically the savings depend on a system that reroutes your call so there is a minor amount of hanging about, but nothing you'll notice unless you're impatient.Personally speaking, the savings I've made have been well worth any such (tiny) irritations and I would recommend it without hesitation.

I am not either an employee or former employee but just a customer who paid $100 for a GO SIM Global chip that only worked to receive calls even after two attempts to get better service from their office staff. The staff were very nice but could not really solve the problem. This SIM chip is complicated to use to make a call. It is a techie product, that didn't work well for me.
I was able to make one call to USA from Greece and another to UK to GoSim customer service but that was it. I tried m ...

I travel abroad quite a lot and have always been amazed by the crazy rates that are charged to make and receive mobile calls. Go Sim provide a whole range of prepaid cards for loads of countries. I especiually like their Global card - works in over 110 countries.
