Would not recommend to purchase one of these GOSIMs.
Firstly, the menu system you're forced to use is a total nightmare and totally inadequate to the software you are accustomed to on the phone.
Secondly, it works out pretty expensive overall and the credit runs down damn fast.
Thirdly, I came to realise some of my texts and likewise those I should receive (in Hong Kong) were not being transmitted and essentially lost.
Fourth, I ceased using it with alot of credit remaining and they refused to refund it (some 30 day policy). They stole my money.
That pretty much sums up my experience.

I bought a Gosim sim card for my trip to Oz, the credit doesn't last long and when I tried to top it up I was unable to. I called customer services from my mobile but this is a charged call and the credit ran out half way through, they then refused to call me back. I had to buy a phone card to phone home and ask my family to do it from the UK. For some reason they were able to do it from there. In the 3 months I was away I needed to top up the credit 3 times. During the last month I had numerous ...- Read Guest's review (262 words)

Used a gosim card over the past 3 weeks. It was first class. Need to call customer services once to clarify call costs in Turkey but it was quick and easy - full marks from me- Read kraggytraveller's review (72 words)

GoSIM works in many many countries, no daily activation charge or whatever the others so, costs vey clear displayed although cannot use in the USA.

I can't see why there are negative feedback's but I can only go on my experience. I have purchased 2 GOsim cards. One for me which I have had for a year and a new one for my wife recently. We are going to seperate countries for a week. I received both cards next day and have had no problems. You have to be a bit patient as the call needs to connect and then call you back (Max 30 seconds). I find them to be great and have recommended them to friends. When you top up the card with more credit it c ...- Read bibblybobs's review (115 words)

I use a gosim on my regular business trips abroad. I've had one or too call problems but then again, I get these on my O2 phone anyway. I think their service is first class and would recommend it to any traveller. I sometimes don't use my card for a few months but it has always worked straight away when needed without any trouble.
Great service - and there are no hidden costs which is sometimes what you come to expect with products like this which seem too good to be true. It is a pay as you go ...- Read chimp64's review (140 words)

I just swapped to gosim from SIM4Travel. The SIM4Travel service was OK but they just dropped on a load of extra charges so I used up the credit and changed to gosim. I got a promo code which got me 10% off because I wanted to swap over.
I want to tell anyone thinking of getting an international sim card to look a bit further than just the call rates. I guess that once you have used one you get to know more about it but many travel sim card providers add in a load of hidden costs. With gosim ther ...- Read robdriff's review (256 words)

See above. Beware doing business with Gosim (based on my experience). I did everything that a consumer reasonably could have done both in advance (before leaving US - set up voice mail), when I arrived Africa (emailed and called Gosim multiple times with no success), and when I returned (promptly contacted Gosim). That they would even dispute a refund request under my circumstances (prompt contact when the cards didn't work) citing their "30-day" return policy is testament to what their business ...- Read bg2mv's review (196 words)

I'm a bit surprised to see negative comments about this product as it doesn't chime at all with my experience.I travel quite a bit in Europe with work (and the occasional trip to the Far East) and it's long been a bugbear of mine that calling home is so stupidly expensive. The Gosim SIM card answered that particular problem pretty effectively. The Gosim SIM card arrived promptly as advertised and I found it easy to operate. I wonder if there's a misunderstanding about the product because all it c ...- Read carpsio's review (316 words)

I am not either an employee or former employee but just a customer who paid $100 for a GO SIM Global chip that only worked to receive calls even after two attempts to get better service from their office staff. The staff were very nice but could not really solve the problem. This SIM chip is complicated to use to make a call. It is a techie product, that didn't work well for me.
I was able to make one call to USA from Greece and another to UK to GoSim customer service but that was it. I tried m ...- Read Guest's review (253 words)
