I purchased the Superstay Magbelline lip color #705 and I absolutely love it. It especially works if you are over 40 because it won't bleed into the fine lines around the mouth. I used it on a snorkeling vacation and it worked great! I absolutely love this product! Only problem is that they have now changed the number of the color and I don't know which number corresponds to the new ones they just released. (read more)

This is more like a love hate relationship with this lipstick lol,well first of all i love the colour and it does last longer than any other lipstick ive tried and i do seem to keep on going back to buy this lipstick all the time but the bad things about it is it does dry ur lips out if you dont keep on using the balm through out the day so make sure you dont forget to put the balm in your handbag cause it can get tricky and the other problem i have is that the lipstick tube last for ages... As far as lip colors go, this is very decent. I liked the tint of the color and how only some colors have sparkle (not a fan of sparkly lipstick).
Pros: Stays on decent, can drink/eat without wear, has moisture stick
Cons: not many colors, begins to flake after a few hours (but then you can put more on and it looks fine)

The Superstay Lip color has a good applicator once you get a little practice with it. The colors are okay, and work best when close to your own skin tone. If you use a bright or deep color- you have to still be a little careful with it.
These are great for lip color when skiing, or during sweaty exercise- just apply it to clean dry lips and let it dry all the way. A second light coat may or may not work, it usually works for me but sometimes it will result in color peeling off in...

Absolutely rubbish!!!! I tested this product on my hands and believe me the hands tell a completely different story to the lips. I was so excited to use it on my lips but really very disappointed when I did. I've tried to use it every way possible, i.e. colour 1st then balm, balm 1st then colour, balm colour balm, my own balm but the results were same. lOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. Color is very true to what it looks like in the tube. You can apply two coats for a deeper color. Just make sure you let it dry all the way FYI shouldn't be tacky on your lips once its completley dry about 1-3 min depending on how thick you coat it. You will need to use the balm it comes with it to keep your lips from drying out. I regularly buy 795-sienna Maybelline Superstay Lip Color and love it. My skin is medium so it gives me a very nice natural flush of colour. I took me a few tries to perfect the application. I found the opening on the applicator too big, it allows too much product on the spongy tip. I always drag the excess off the applicator tip before applying. That way you get a natural light application, rather than cakey and dry. You MUST allow the drying time before the conditioning coat or it won't... (read more)

Love it, love it, love it!!!! I apply 2 coats in the morning (apply color 1 time, let dry, apply 2nd time lightly, let dry then apply clear) and it literally lasts all day long. I just apply the clear throughout the day and never have to apply color again. Maybelline Superstay Lip Color is amazing! I am so glad that I found this product. Oh and the replaceable clear is a brilliant idea. I can just slide one of the replacements in my pocket and my lip color is good for the whole day. (read more)

I bought the Maybelline Superstay Lip Color bright red one and used it for the first time this Friday night and all day Saturday. I have this Maybelline Superstay Lip Color in 'Perfect in Pink' which is a bright but soft pink, quite natural looking. It's easy to apply, doesn't go gooey or patchy like some others. It lasts a full work day but if I wanted to have the 'definitely wearing a truckload of make-up' look then I'd probably have to reapply towards the end of the day. I prefer to look naturally flushed/healthy so it suits me fine that it fades a little!

Maybelline claims to have a remover for this lipstick, but I can't find it anywhere. After going to 1/2 dozen stores, I gave up.
Honestly, to get this Maybelline Superstay Lip Color lipstick off, you have to wear it for three days until it wears off by itself.

Fantastastic product, I'm addicted, it stays on for a really long time and the most important thing for me was that it never smudges. Ever. Not when drinking coffee, or eating or even rubbing. You can just put it on and not worry about having it on your teeth after lunch. Color stays on, but does fade throughout the day, just reapply. (read more)

I thought Maybelline Superstay Lip Color was a waste of $7. Several of my friends bought this and the same thing happened to them! All together, I find it doesn't stay on for more than 1 minute and 30 seconds because the colour seems to fade so quickly. (read more)

It looked great at first, but within minutes of applying the balm my lips were already dry, and so much for long lasting, it wore off after just an hour and ended up as a flakey, dry ring around my lip line. In my experience, it did not last. (read more)

Up until now I have been mixing Maybelline Paris Pink and Revlon Blaze Apricot to obtain a neat sort of blossomy light lovely color which I thought I was getting with the Superstay similar color. But it neither stayed nor did it even get on my lips. The applicator looks like it is almost empty and no color is coming our. I just wasted $8.00 which I can ill-afford. (read more)

Always bought this lip colour and loved it - best thing since sliced bread, then Maybelline had to go and mess it up and bring out a 'new' version which is very disappointing. There is no density to the colour any more and not only were the code numbers changed but the corresponding colour descriptions. It's not cheap and I've wasted money in an attempt to get as near to the colour I used to have, without success. Shall not be buying any more though - will attempt to get the old version... Absolute, positively did not work for me. Dried my lips (even after applying the conditioning balm), color came off in little flakes while drinking coffee (several minutes after application), color only stayed on outer edges of lips and then eventually came off, even after exfoliating, this product did not live up to its promise, bought Superaway just in case and now have no use for it. Not satisfied. I have tried other brands of long lasting lipglosses and the one that lasts the best was covergirl, it goes on easy and lasts for hours, even after eating and drinking. Maybelline superstay only lasted a couple of hours without eating or drinking. Very dissapointed since I paid $10.00 for it. (read more)

I have been using Revlon Colorstay Overtime ever since it came out. Last week the store was out of my color so I tried Maybelline Superstay Lip Color. Now I am sold on Superstay. It lasts and lasts and does not come off on your teeth, straws, water glasses etc. I would like to see a little more orange in your Coral color.

This product has been a revelation to me. I put it on at 7.00am before I set off for work, and it is always still there at 6.30pm when I get home. I did think the shades available was a bit limited, but it must just have been in the shop I bought it, because their are quite a few to choose from.
You want a lipstick that stays on all day.....this is definitely the one for you!

This is a definite winner in my book. It applies smoothly and lasts for most of the day, with a delicious, strawberry scent. I alternate between Rose and Cherry, and I have given up lip liner and gloss as well as conventional lipstick altogether. Maybelline Super Stay isn't completely stay put though, compared to other brands of lipstick, so I always apply a few layers, but oily foods or even citrus fruit can cause it to come off. Maybelline Superstay Lip Color has quickly become my favourite lipstick. I put it on in the morning and I know that I don't have to worry about it all day, and even the bit in the middle of your bottom lip stays covered!
This product defies greasy food, hot drinks, and heavy lip-action with your man!
I used to use Max Factor's Lipfinity, but that used to dry out badly by midday, and it looked dreadful if you tried to touch it up. It also looked much more "painted on", whereas Superstay...

I used to be a lipgloss kinda chick until I happened upon Maybelline Superstay Lip Color - a lipgloss type wand containing the color - with a balm type gloss to provide that glossiness. What n absolute load of rubbish. I've used this product since it was launched and wouldn't use anything else. Put on the colour, let it dry for 2 minutes and put on the balm. Unless you eat grey food it will stay on all day and WITHOUT needing to reapply balm, your lips will stay supple and moist. I am 60+ and if it's alright on my lips i cannot imagine what would cause it to do otherwise except perhaps incorrect use.
