Good Points: Rock Solid
Tightened my groups
Recoil Stop pin (removable)
"Fixed" a broken scope
Bad Points: Heavy
General comments: I bought this Beeman scope mount to replace an RWS-C mount that literally shook apart. I got the 5040 and an adjustable 5039 from Beeman dealer John Tripier in Media, PA (Auto Electric & Parts).
Before the RWS-C failed, I was convinced that it was my Banner Dusk & Dawn 6-24x40, a 16" (409mm) long scope, that was broken.
Boy was I surprised. The combo has worked flawlessly on an HW97K Mk III, Gamo CF-X, and others. (yes, it is possible with careful positioning to place the Beeman adjustable 5039 so that the CF-X can be loaded beneath the 16" scope).
The 5040 also has worked well with a Burris Compact scope on a Gamo Hunter 440.

I bought a new Beeman 1 piece scope mount for my spring air rifle because the 2 piece rings kept moving. The 1 piece is as solid as a rock. It has a built in stop pin as well, and is very well made. Worth every dollar!!- Read jorg20057000's review (49 words)
