Good Points: Small unobtrusive easy to use. Superb lens quality equals leica,. sturdy, robust certainly a classic in it's own right. Manual/ auto exposure, bright view finder, excellent film shot protection, great for kids and candid's.
Bad Points: costly to buy, but,,, quality can cost.
General comments: The Ricoh GR1v is a superb camera to take anywhere, it is hard to spoil images even if you wish to, however having said that. you can manipulate the image manually if desired. I have owned the full line up pf the gr 1 film camera products but the Gr ! V is by far the best of them. It suits a need perfectly and requires little to no maintenance for many years. It is a great back up camera for other pro 35mm camera's for pro use.

My Ricoh GR1v 35mm camera is a gem. The lens quality rivals my Nikon lenses. It fits in your pocket, looks like it isn't worth robbing off you when on holiday.
The results are stunning from this pocket camera.
I travel with it when abroad, and it is much easier to cart about than my SLR kit.
If you find a second hand one, buy it. Mine is NOT for sale though.- Read victoranthony's review (96 words and 1 comment)
