My thoughts are simply this I go to one of your dreams stores to make a purchase, i see something i like that concist of bedroom furniture, Bed and mattress. Total price £1200.00. Was told that the mattress came from there company but bed + furniture would take a little while longer for delivery but definateley within 28 days. My order was placed on 18.06.09. I paid 20% deposit £244.00. To this date 23.07.09 still no furniture,I was told via costumer care that if i cancell my order t ...- Read matthew chance's review (338 words)

Bought a new double bed from Dreams. Was a very good service, sales person was helpful and advised me on what sort of beds I could get. Only downside was he forgot to tell me I had to order a headboard seperately so had to go back when bed arrived.
Delivery arrived on the day I was informed it would.- Read squeak85's review (68 words)

I have a matress from dreams and when purchased we specified it needed to be for a sliegh bed with slats. There was no mention of how wide the slats should be and now after 3 years our matress has a 4ft x 1ft dip in the one side. They are blaming it on the springs going through the gap in the slats and blame us. We followed the instructions to turn every month and actually we it more often. Customer services have just offered us £40 in dreams vouchers as comepsation instead of a replaceme ...- Read Alan Cregeen's review (147 words)

Put a deposit down on a bed with Dreams, even though they have accepted the cancellation I am not able to get a refund. The store manager simply bumps me off to the delivery team, the delivery team keeps phoning to arrange to deliver the bed. I cannot get any paperwork out of them to say the order is canceled. I have not had the money back on my credit card. They promise to refund my money but it is just not happening.
Dream turn to nightmares!

when contact was made to Dreams PLC customer services they insisted on provision of photo's to access the damage even though they were told the noise it was making could not be photographed. they eventually sent out an upholsturer who tied the springs to the wooden frame with string. told me there was a well in the mattress but it was ok. we complained but are now having to send in photo's of the damage to the mattress to be assessed by the customer service department.- Read christine999's review (177 words)

I ordered bedroom furniture from above store because their catalogue clearly states delivery within seven days, asked salesman to confirm Items were in stock and a delivery date he made a phone call and said they were available and guaranteed I would have them on the 17 of October I phoned on 16 October to check delivery time only to be told Items won't be delivered as they don't have them and have no Idea when they will and I should hear from them in 28 days. I feel that customer service at Dreams PLC take too long to answer phone calls whenever I call them, they never appear willing to put me through to a manager.
Purchased £2000.00 bed had it replaced twice due to defect.
I feel I have received poor quality and service.
Will not never buy from them again.- Read chetanshah's review (64 words)

I ordered my bed and mattress over three weeks ago and was assured it would take three weeks for delivery due to stock. I called them yesterday (6th) to enquire about a delivery time as I had not heard from them - they told me my bed was still out of stock and it would be delivered on the (11th.) I then called again today and the man at customer services told me its going to be another three weeks MINIMUM. I tried explaining that I currently have no bed and he didn't seem to care at all.- Read Guest's review (104 words)

Ordered child's high sleeper for my stepson which broke the moment he put his foot on the ladder. On that basis called to cancel outstanding order for another bed but was persuaded not to. Accepted the offer, and anticipated delivery 3 weeks later. Was called the day before agreed delivery to be told that the mattress was not in stock. This was also the day before a houseguest was arriving from abroad and I had no bed for her. Employee who called offered nothing but an apology and an offer to de ...- Read dilettante's review (99 words)

I visited the shop in Derby and eventually bought a matress protector after the staff appeared to be reading comics and laughing and joking. When I got home my partner noticed I had purchased the wrong thing and within 24 hours she tried to return the item (which was still in its original unopened packaging with the receipt). The staff would not refund the money or give a credit note, I found them totally unhelpful. I emailed the shop and haven't yet received a reply or acknowledgment.

Dreams PLC could not offer refund or exchange on unsuitable goods, no mention is made at the point of purchase nor could I find it in any t&c's. Staff seemed rude and unwilling to help and openly admitted that if they are not breaking the law they can do what ever they like!- Read Amylu's review (76 words)

We purchased an order to value of £2300 from Dreams Plc in March. The mattress, £900, is has caused us considerable physical discomfort. It has gone from being like a stiff board to sagging in the middle, offering no support, extremely uncomfortable on both counts. The bedpost has a large crack in it, the holes drilled on boards and sides mismatch, the mirror brackets are insufficient for weight of mirror and, both chests of drawers have cracks in bases of drawers. We have emaile ...- Read purplebird's review (262 words)

We ordered a bed and mattress (by phone) in late March and were told that it would be delivered 2 weeks later. Unfortunately the delivery was postponed twice - both times because the items had not been sent to the depot. When the bed finally arrived (6 days after the original date) though it was very good quality and I can't fault it. I've no problems with the goods, but I would advise people (especially if like me they are moving into an unfurnised house) to expect a delay of at least a week, a ...- Read Guest's review (119 words)

My wife and I went to look for a new bed frame to replace our existing bed. When we decided to see what dreams had to offer and we saw a bed we liked. The branch manager showed us mattresses and we ended up deciding on replacing the mattress as well (he was good at selling).
We went home decided on the dreams bed and returned to the store with the dimensions of our existing Mattress to ensure that it would fit into our room. The manager told us that the dimension (160 x 200cm or 5' x6'6") was ...- Read Geefunk's review (434 words)

Beware the Dreams "comfort guarantee," we bought a mattress, the list price was £819, when we went to pay, the salesman put a mattress cover in a bag and said you get a free mattress cover, and also I am going to give you a free 10 year guarantee. We paid the £819 and waited a few weeks for delivery, which was fine. When the mattress was delivered I found it very uncomfortable, however, I was not too upset as we had the "comfort guarantee" which said that if after 30 days you find th ...- Read kkerr's review (205 words)

I went to Dreams because (let's face it), I was lazy. They are in most high streets and you can try the beds. However, what you try in the shop and get at home are different things as I came to find out.My mattress is a Chaucer with latex top and pocket springs in a super king size. It cost '£1478 which is a lot for a mattress. I was told that if I had any problems to come back - but I wouldn't want to as this would be exceptionally comfortable. I tried it in the shop and it was supportiv ...- Read bowmangreg's review (691 words and 5 comments)

Bad business practice. Did not give you 7 to 14 days cooling period as trading standards policy. Will charge you a hefty fine if you cancel order. Some 20% or so. Not very frindly after sales.- Read Guest's review (64 words)
