i bought a parker hale striker in .177 after i bent the barrel on my bsa xl tactical, after comparing the two guns i can say that they are identical in every way and work exactly the same, i swapped the stock of my broken xl tactical with the striker cos the fixing are the same so its like i've got my xl back, accuracy is fantastic what a great gun, and one i will never sell, the only downside i would say this rifle has is the same with the bsa in that it does not have an anti bear trap mechanism on it so make sure the safty is on when you cock cos if you touch the trigger when the barrel is open it will slam shut bending the barrel, i know this from experiance.

just bought the parker hale striker today for £200 inc 4x40 scope, took about 50 mins to zero in at 52 meters and yes i did measure it and got a 2 inch grouping firing 16 air arms diblo pellets. a superb accurate gun and very light, i have been up the stables for 45 mins and shot 9 rats and it near destroyed them, a cracking gun for the money.

I was intending to buy aa BSA TActical XL or Lightening XL but once I had shouldered the Striker I liked the balance and the fact that the longer stock suited me much better than the Lightening XL which felt way too short. Plenty of power and v accurate once zeroed in the scope.

I own one of these rifles and it is far better than any wheirach or bsa that I've ever owned, the balance of the rifle is superb and the only fault is that it seems to slightly lack stopping power.

I bought my parker hale striker today from keens guns in aberkenfig after a recommendation off Dai good gun. I had my eye on the lightening XL .22 but on closer inspection i didnt really like the weight and balance of it. The XL tactical was a bit of a plum for my likeing also so i thought i was going back to Ton empty handed. But on seeing the Striker with its sleek lines and nice silencer i quickly changed my mind. My Butty Elgwano got a Bsa lightening mark 1 and he dropped a nice african grey ...

Bought this gun on Saturday and have fitted and zeroed my scope in. It's a brilliant gun for experienced shooters and novices alike.
If your scope is set up properly you can group within 5mm at 20 yards easily.
The striker is well balanced and well made, feels like a more expensive gun (BSA make the strike under license for Parker and Hale, it's essentially a Lightning with a slightly different barrel and Moderator fitted).
The whole thing is well finished and if you use the safety it engages wi ...

I bought my new Striker from my local gunshop and have already been out to use it. All I can say after using it is that it is a really well balanced gun and that it's basically another gun that has been rebadged and had a different silencer screwed onto it. That is not a bad thing it's a very good thing, it's big brother cost at least £25 pound more and is exactly the same to use - (I know because I have used one)
This Gun is a joy to shoot - Stick a 3-9 x 40 scope on it (make sure it ...

I came across the Parker Hale Striker by accident as i was originally after a BSA Lightning. I was informed this was almost identical as he didn't have any Lightnings in stock & factory were on 2 weeks holiday truth or not don't really care as this gun is in a league of it's own, highly recommended to any starter like my self. Yes it was expensive for a starter but who cares it's a great piece of kit the only reason accuracy and handling are not 10's is i still need to practice.

I came into ownership of this model quite by chance when my hunting rifle of first choice parted its piston head from the piston[fwb124s]. So a stand in was required and what should be sitting on the shelf but an immaculate striker .177 first night out bagged 3 rabbits which on my very open farm shoot with a new rifle was for me impressive, med range minimum. If you like me are a confirmed springer man i can't recommend this rifle enough another point overlooked by others is that the mechanism i ...

I bought this rifle on recommendation from my local store in Christchurch, UK.
My brief was to hunt rodents, I needed accuracy and power, since I wanted a clean kill on fast rats at 20 yards.
Having zeroed sights on the range, I have found this rifle to be an excellent vermin hunting rifle, packing a considerable punch, with pin-point precision.
Works well coupled with AGS 4 x 40 scope.

The Parker Hale Striker is gun I do not own, but my friend has one in his store. I have fired it twice and zeroed in a scope with it. The gun is, well what can I say it is Parker Hale, maker of shotguns and modern weaponry, it's great. It handles like a dream, the balence is near perfect, power is awesome and if you own one of these guns you will have one for life. At £210 its a complete bargain, it has all the BSA Lightning parts in it so you could say it is a BSA lightning but cheaper an ...
