Used over bright blonde hair., was very messy and went everywhere & hard to get off skin!! Turned out very well roots and ends turned out the same nice blue hint of it in the light. Dye washes out. Good colour was €4 in tesco (read more)

I've used the Live hair colour range for about 6 years now, and have always been satisfied with the results. For the past 3-4 years, I've used Deep Black, but fancying a change, i bought Cosmic Blue. It came out great! It does just look black indoors, but under artificial light or sunlight it has a blue tint to it. It is in the 'Black Collection' of the Schwarzkopf range, so don't be disappointed if you can only see the blue tint in the light. I was amazed that the blue even showed, given... (read more)

When I started out with this dye, my hair was a very very pale shade of mint all over, as it was bleached before I over dyed it with teal. The teal had mostly faded so, as I say, it was pale mint, mostly back to white/blonde. I over dyed it with the cosmic blue, hoping for it to come out a nice, fairly bright, blue, as shown on the box. I bought this hair dye simply because I didn't like my old colour of light brown. It was only £3.99 which is cheap. I'm only 14 so I thought it might be a bit dangerous for my hair but it wasn't it was fantastic. It had a slight tinge of blue which is what I was going for and the conditioner you get with it leaves a nice long lasting glossiness! I think this hair dye is slightly misleading, i've been using it for a few months now because I want my hair black, but for anyone who is looking for blue hair, or black/blue hair you'd be very disapointed with this hair dye. The dye goes on and will look blue under light for the first little while, but then will just become a rich, shiny and dark black, which suits me fine but wasn't the result i was expecting or hoping for. I dyed my hair with live xxl cosmic blue because they didnt have the normal black that i usually used. I am really pleased with the result and can see the blue in the light but no so much otherwise but other than that i am really chuffed. Its just enough blue colour to make a difference for me. i will choose this product again i have always thought that live colours hair dye are the best :) (read more)

im just after dying my hair with schwarzkopf cosmic blue dye and im not fully satasfied with the result. i can hardly see any blue in my hair even in the light witch is not what the box said. my hair was in good condition before i died it with cosmic blue but really just turned out black i suppose i can see the slightest bit of blue . this is quite a dissapointment as schwarzkopf products are usually good as i have used there purple dye before . My hair is naturally dark. I coloured my hair brown at first using blonde hair dye and it became a very light brown, almost dark blonde. Then I coloured it into a dark brown which I liked. I wanted to do it blue so I then used XXL Live Blue hair dye. It failed miserably. It looked black, not even a hint of blue. I have been colouring my chestnut hair for 20 years as I feel that black suits me better, my eyebrows are naturally black anyway & I just love dark hair. I prefer blue black & this colour leaves a my hair a rich bluish black & very shiny, washing the stains off is always a headache. My hair is dyed black about a month ago, I just used live xxl cosmic blue and it came out great even though my hair had been dyed black the blue shine was still noticable and really made my blue eyes pop, I had recently used a pure blue hair dye on my black hair and you couldn'yt notice it all because i didnt bleach first but this product came out more blue that the pure blue dye (read more)

I am Sri-lankan and have naturally dark features anyway. Even though my natural hair colour is dark, and appears black, it really isnt. That was apparant after using this dye as it is really really dark.

I love this product! My mum purchased it thinking she would suit the colour, only for the hairdresser to tell her that she is far too pale for it. So she left it under the kitchen sink, I kept asking her and asking her if I could dye my hair that colour but she said no. dying your hair with these home box dyes can prevent you from any salon treatments in the future. black is the hardest to get rid of so therefore your stuck with it for a while. the metallic salts in these products react with chemicals in other treatments such as hydrogen peroxide, best get it done at a salon it would be better for your hair.
<br/>as for the black hair dye gloves would help but still try use milk it will fade the colour odd i know but try it

i have used this hair dye a few times i would say its good
but a pain for getting everywhere it stains your head if your not cearful enough also its very black but after you have washed it a few times i noticed it started to look blue it also looks more blue in the light
and depeding how dark/colour your hair is, is going to effect the colour also i runs alot even though its ment to be perminent it also dosnt have a very nice smell it makes me have a headake but its a really nice colour on...

I have been dying my hair for years and its always been black. I've used many hair dyes over the years and decided to try this one and this is the worst hair dye I have ever used. I bought cosmic blue instead of the plain old black and wanted that extra tint in there for a change. I absolutely adore this colour it really makes my blue eyes look really bright and I love how dark it is.
People need to understand its not a 'blue' hair dye its black with a blue tint. Any colour, even from the hairdressers, will fade over time. If this bothers you just do as I do and buy two and re-dye when you think its fading.

My hair is brown and when i put the dye on I expected atleast the blue hues of cosmic blue dye to show in the bright sun ,but it just went completely black .Also within 2 weeks my hair had faded and looked realy rubbish with brown and a stained matted patchy black .Just to add I wash my hair every other day so it wasnt down to anything like constant washing . I used Schwarzkopf live colours cosmic blue and i was pleased with the condition of my hair afterwards. It was very soft and shiny. I was a bit dissapointed with the colour as I was looking for quite a strong blue colour. It turned out as more of a navy blue colour and this was only in daylight, inside it just looked black. Schwarzkopf Live Colours Cosmic Blue does what its supposed to, makes your hair very dark blue since it's cosmic blue and its rather cheap for permanent hair dye
although its not all that permanent as after the first 2-3 washes it washed almost out and changed shades slightly.

After I washed the dye out it looked fab. Unfortunately, the Schwarzkopf Live Colours Cosmic Blue hair colour washed out within 4 weeks, even though it's supposed to be permanent.
