I'm not sure what you guys have been doing but I have Roadtecs on my YZF600 and they are TERRIBLE! Sure some tires are better for some bikes than other but these absolutely stink for the YZF! The other day in the rain at low speeds it nearly dropped it 3 times. And I mean low speeds. I've owned probably more than a dozen bikes in my life, with over 2 decades of riding experience and have tried many, many brands of tires. This is the second set of Metzlers I've owned (the first ones were by choice) and it will be my last. The first set also sucked in the rain. Sorry, they may be good for some bikes (maybe heavier ones), but not the YZF600. Ta Ta.

The Metzeler Roadtec Z6 is a hard wearing tyre but in my opinion inferior to the Bridgestone 020 in the wet when fitted to the BMW RT. I think the rear needs more grooves on its centre. Then they could also apply wear indicators.

I think these tyres could do with a tread indicator in middle section. You don't know when tyre life is expired. Happened twice to me, so I paid for these tyres just to be caught out.

Sounds like they're fitted the wrong way round?
